The man on the couch takes a few puffs from his cigarette and releases the smoke, as it swirl through the air. He concentrates intently on the screen, a frown on his face as he diligently attends to his work.

Jimin enters the room, munching on an apple.

"Early morning cigarette, huh?" he teases. "What's up?"

Jungkook responds curtly, "Nothing, just work."

Jimin settles onto the couch beside him, sensing something amiss.

"Just work, or is there something else bothering you? You've been uncharacteristically quiet since last night."

Jimin's mind drifts back to the night Jungkook had spent with Katie. Since then, he's been unusually quiet and stressed. It's clear as day that something has definitely happened between them. Jimin can sense that his friend must have messed up big time.

"Bro, you look like you're carrying a world of weight on your shoulders," Jimin says, concern written on his face.

"Did something happened between you and Katherine?" Jimin asks. Jimin's direct question catches Jungkook off guard, and he hesitates for a moment before responding.

"Why do you ask?" he counters, trying to maintain a nonchalant tone.

Jimin doesn't miss the flicker of unease in his friend's eyes

"Because you've been more quiet than usual since the night you two were together," Jimin points out, his tone laced with gentle concern.

Jungkook leans back against the couch, his head falling back as he recalls the events of the night.

"It's just that..." he begins, his voice trailed off for a moment.

He then explains to Jimin how he and Katie were locked in a closet together, forced to play the 7-minute challenge. He confesses how alcohol made him lose control, leading him to say things he regrets now.

"I should have controlled my mouth. It's the alcohol's fault. If I hadn't been drunk, I wouldn't have done that," Jungkook concludes, exhaling heavily.

Jimin listens intently, his expression a mix of surprise and disappointment.

"Dude, you can't blame alcohol for everything. You gotta take responsibility for your actions," Jimin lectures firmly.

He can sense the guilt in his friend's voice. Jungkook continues to smoke, the cigarette dangling between his fingers.

"What do you want me to do bruh..? Go fall on my knees and beg for forgiveness" Jungkook chuckles.

Jimin narrows his eyes at his friend's flippant response.

"No, Kook, I'm not saying you should beg for forgiveness. But you do need to own up and take responsibility for your actions," Jimin replies firmly.

Jungkook huffs in response, crossing his arms.
