icarly: I'm getting adopted

CHAPTER ONE

It was a joyful day because it was Millicent's 15th birthday. Carly and, Freddie held it at a Dave and, Busters. Millicent was gathered by her friend Olive and, her family. Even Spencer flew in from LA along with his new girlfriend Audrey. For Millicent's big birthday nothing can ruin her special day as she was happy seeing her dad doing so well.

As well as both her mom Gwen and, Carly being together in the same room once again in which seemed like forever. Spencer brought out the giant 5-layer vanilla birthday cake with a little assistance from his girlfriend who placed the cake in front of Millicent's face. Audrey was the one to lend a hand in lighting the candles because well Spencer will just accidently set something on fire other than the cake.

Carly whipped out her phone to take a photo of Millicent's big day.

Happy birthday Millicent Carly cheered. Freddie standing near Carly smiled and, waved to Millicent as Carly snapped the photo. Spencer began singing happy birthday and, everyone followed suite.

After snapping the photo Carly grabbed Freddie's hand then smiled at him as she could see he needed some comfort.

Is it getting too loud she asked as she was concerned?

A little but I can manage it today is Millicent's day. I have to be here for her Freddie expressed.

Okay just let me know if things are getting too much, we can always step outside for a few minutes Carly reminds him.

Freddie smiled in response as he continued watching Millicent blowing out her candles.

I think we should officially adopt Millicent Freddie announced.

I thought you already did Carly asked?

No, the situation is a little hard to explain here Freddie replied.

Well, I think that's a great idea Carly beamed as her eyes lit up with Joy.

I want a picture with my mom and dad Millicent asked Spencer after blowing out the candles.

Got it kiddo Freddie get up there by Millicent Spencer directs as he whipped out his phone.

Both Gwen and Carly walked up to take a photo with her. But Millicent stopped Carly and said that she just wanted a photo with just her mom and dad. Carly while disappointed she took a step back because this was Millicent's day not her's.

Say happy family Spencer directed as he held out his phone.

Freddie, Millicent, and Gwen all shouted as they smiled.

After Spencer took the photo that's when Freddie announced to Millicent, he wanted to officially adopt her.

She squealed with joy and leaped into her dads's arms.

Yes, I want you to adopt me Millicent cheers!

Freddie jumped as he caught Millicent in his arms.

Gwen looked over at Freddie and noticed that he had been acting strangely all day and was concerned for him. She wanted to pull him aside to talk to him but didn't want to ruin her daughter's birthday.

Later on that night after the celebration died down and people were heading on home. Gwen thought that this would be the time to talk to Freddie.

Freddie, may I have a word Gwen asked as she pulls him aside as he was talking to Carly.

Sure, thing Freddie replied as he went with Gwen.

Hey what's going on Gwen asked?

Nothing why Freddie nervously replied.

You just seem off lately Gwen asked?

I've been going through a bit of a rough time lately but, I'm now just learning to manage it Freddie explained.

Are you sure? Just because you're my ex-husband doesn't mean I don't care about you Gwen asked?

Gwen seriously just stay out of my life Freddie snapped as he raised his voice.

Carly looked over as she heard Freddie yell and grew concerned.

Oh no please don't she prayed as Carly hoped nothing would ruin the remaining few minutes of Millicent's night.
