You're Mine Now [Zouis]

Chapter 24

I slowly followed behind Louis. He hadn't said a word to me since we left the house. The sun was also coming up. It scared me to think that Louis would just burst into flame right in front of my eye.

"Um...Louis do you think it's safe for u to be out? The sun's coming out." I say.

"Zayn I'm a purebred. I can go out in the sun with out anything happening to me." He answered. I nodded in understandment.

"Oh...ok then. I didn't know. I don't know about vampires and purebreds." I said simply telling the truth.

"I know you don't, your still learning." Louis told me. I nodded again. We walked then in silence. It wasn't awkward but nice and calming. We kept going and I still didn't know where we were going. Louis all of a sudden stopped and turned looking at me.

"Before I can just go and show you where we are. I need to know something." He said with a blank expression. I nodded for him to continue. "Do you love anyone?"

What? what kind of question is that? Do I love anyone? I never really thought about it. Is there someone I love? I'm only 19... Mum always said to say you love someone at a young age was pointless. That it wouldn't last, to wait until I was older to say that I truly loved someone. Not to make the mistake as she did when she married my father.

"Zayn?" I heard my name being called. I looked at Louis who was looking at me concerned. "Are you ok? You've stood there for 5 minutes with this really sad expression."

"I was?" I look at him confused. He nodded still looking at me concerned. Then he put him hands in the air.

"You know what. Forget I asked you that question." He looked down. I looked at him confused once again.

"Louis are you sure?" I asked looking at him.

"Yeah. Forget it. Let me just show you the place so we can go." He says moving a piece of plywood that was covering the entrance of a cave then he walked in. I followed right behind and gasped at the scene in front of me. Candles and Christmas lights where hanging all around the walls and floors of the caves. There was small streams that went to a bigger pool. There was a waterfall then that went down into the pool. Louis walked over and kneeled down putting a hand in the water. I watched as he did and a smile came across his face. I smiled when I saw the smile that was on his face. He looked over to me then and still had the smile on his face.

"So how did you find this place?" I asked him looking into his eyes. Louis laughed a little standing up.

"I use to walk around a lot and I would just walk around seeing if I could find some cool small trinkets. Well I was walking and saw the opening of the cave. I got curious and walked in looking around until I saw the pool here. So I went and got lights and candles. Putting them all around and came down when I just need to relax. The other boys don't even know about it." he said looking at me.

"This is the second thing you've showed me that the others don't know about." I said smiling. He was smiling looking down.

"Yeah...I guess your just something special." He said looking at the ground. I looked at him surprised. What me? Something special? No one has ever said that to me but my mum and it was rare when she did. God I've thought about my mum so many times and know I'm starting to miss her and my sisters. I looked down as I thought about them. Louis walked over to me then tilting my head up to look at him. "Zayn what's wrong?"

"Just...you'll get mad at me fine I say..." I want to tell him I really do... but he'll just yell for thinking of them.

"What ever it is tell me. I'll try not to get angry when you tell me." He says looking me in the eyes. I bite my lip and nod a little. Sighing I started to slowly tell him.

"Well you see Louis....I've just been thinking of...well...my family lately...and how much I miss them..." I look at Louis to see his reaction and he didn't look angry nor happy. He looked sad actually. Louis looked down. He didn't say anything for the longest time until I said something. "L-Louis?"

"I'm fine...just was hoping you wouldn't think about them..." He said looking up at me. I could help to think that was a little selfish and I looked at him shocked.

"Louis that's selfish." I said bluntly narrowing my eyes. Then he glared at me.

"I'm not being selfish! Sorry that I just want to keep you here!" He yelled. "Shit...that did sound selfish..."

He looked down pulling at his hair. I sighed looking at Louis sadly. I walked over to him taking his hands away from his hair and he slowly lifted his head up. My eyes widen though when I saw Louis' eyes were no longer blue but a blood red.

"Z-Zayn I think it's time that you go..." He said suddenly. I looked at him nervous nodding backing up slowly. "God Zayn...you just smell so good..."

I kept backing up until I got out of the cave and started to run to the house. Thoughts running through my mind as I tried to find my way back. Next thing I know I'm pinned to the ground. I look to see Louis being the one who is pinning me to the ground. Then I felt the sharp pain in my neck once again like the first time I taken away. My eyes widen and Louis covered my mouth as I screamed into it. Things started to get fuzzy then black spots started to appear in my vision. I felt the pain go away a little but still didn't help to much.

"Shit! Zayn!" That was the last thing I heard until I passed out.

Hey guys! So sry it's been so long since I've updated.... :/ Just I had soccer try outs and I made the team and I've just been having practice and games and come home dead tired. Then on top of it I have a lot of homework... I will try to update when I can though. I'm not giving up on this story or any of them till I finish them. Thank you though for being so patient with me. You guys are the best! :)
