I dated David in middle school for two and a half years till I found out he was cheating on me the day before I moved so I blocked him on everything while I moved into my new house.
Around 5 years later I moved back over to New York, in Sugarhill. The house had 3 floors including a basement, 2 bathrooms, a bathroom in my room nd a big ass backyard. I unpacked my things in our new house, setting up my room and deciding where I wanted my stuff to be before heading out to walk around a lil
"Mama ima be out for a lil bit jus to walk around" I say and she gave me a slight nod, unpacking in the kitchen
"okay love, don't go too far and be home before 3:30" she says and I give her a nod before walking out the house
I put in my AirPods while walking down the street, listening to "Are you that somebody" from Aaliyah. I hum quietly along with it till I got a FaceTime from "bookie💗" my friend chanel. I quickly answer with a small smile and hold the phone up while her phone was on her vanity "heyy boo!" "heyyy neveah!"
yu move into yu house yet?" she asks looking excited
"mhmm"
"why yu ain't show me? yu don't show me anything anymore" she says jokingly mugging me, so I mugged her back
"do yu wanna fight?" I ask then she squares up
"YU KNOW WHERE I LIVE, PULL TF UP." she yelled before we both started laughing
"So what yu doing rii now?"
"I'm just walking, prolly going to da deli to get a drink"
"ohhh okayy" she says as I make my way to the deli, not far from it.
I get there after a couple minutes as me and Chanel talk about what we gon do in school. "Ouuu look at all this candy" I say turning my camera and heard her mumble "big back ass, that's all yu think about"
"BITCH- don't make me act up in hea" I say causing her to laugh
"What's funny? Young lady what is funny?" I ask trying to act like my mama, grabbing trolli gummies as she kept laughing.
"My fault ma'am.. anyways, my boyfriend bought me sum food"
"didn't yall jus make a TikTok and you slapped his ass for not giving you the food?"
"NO I AIN'T! STFU!" she yelled at me as I roll my eyes, grabbing a Minute Maid lemonade then bring it to the counter then placing my stuff down
"That will be $8.95" the guy says and I nod, pulling out 10 dollars and giving it to him while Chanel was mumbling some song in my ear loud asf.
He gave me my change back then I grabbed my stuff and walked out "when yu coming to school?"
"Monday I told yu dat"
"No yu didn't"
"Yes I did."
"No yu didn't."
"Chanel I did."
"Neveah you did not."
"Yes I did bro stfu"
"Fuck you, bye" she then hung up and I roll my eyes. We wasn't fr mad at each other but that's how we act..
I'm really close to home, around the corner but as I'm walking, I see a boy walking my direction so I step to the side a bit so I can let him get past. I look down at my phone and he bumped into me
I was bouta say sumn but he paused and looked at me "my fault ma" he says and I look up at him..
We both froze completely.
"Neveah?" he looks me up and down. I knew it was David. But he looked so.. different. He was way taller, his hair was longer and in twists nd I seen he had in grilz.
I quickly turn my head, tryna act stupid "oh I think yu got someone else hun" I say trying to walk past but he grabbed my arm and pulled me back
"Nah nah nah don't run" he let out a chuckle and looked me up and down "I thought yu moved"
"I did. But I came back, what yu want?" I ask in a irritated tone, sipping my lemonade
"Yu don't gotta get an attitude. But damn.. you changed ma" his eyes traveled to my lips as he spoke to me
"Mhm, so did you." I notice him step closer then scrunched my face slightly "nigga gimmie my space tf is yu doing?"
"I can't get close?"
"No."
"Why not ma?" he tries to step close again but I push him
"Cause I don't wanna fuckin get near yu, and don't be callin me that. I'm not ya girlfrien"
"Yeah I know.. for now" he mumbled "but where yu going?"
"Home. Leave me alone"
"Can we just talk real quick?"
"No lil boy"

"Boy I said no, fuck off!" I raise my voice a bit cause I really starting to get pissed off by this nigga, but I guess he thought it was funny or sumn cause he smiled then shook his

"Can I at least get a hug?"
I look at him like he stupid then roll my eyes and walk away
As I'm walking I hear him mumble "damn.. ass got fatter too" causing me to speed up and get home
I went inside then up to my room to call Chanel again if she wasn't too busy, I hope I don't see David no more..
