𝘿𝘼𝙔 𝙊𝙉𝙀

as i look out the window coming back from school in my dad's car i hear my name being called "summer , summer" my dad yelled slightly , i turned my head to look at him "hm" with an annoyed tone" "do you not hear me asking you a question" he said with a stern tone.

i could tell that he was mad so i tried to change up the topic , he gets pretty angry most of the time and takes it out on me .

"sorry dad i didn't hear you" I quickly responded to his words.

after a moment of silence i finally said something . "so how's your new job going"."good" he said it was like he was trying to keep his answer short and simple , that's not something he would usually do he would go on and on and non stop talking if someone asked him a question.

after minutes of silence later we finally got home and i dropped my bags off to go shower.

when i got out of the shower i got a text from nick.

me: no why?

me: sure who's hosting it?

after i got off the phone i went to my room to get dressed in something comfortable while waiting for time to go by . i decided to wear a black hoodie and some black and white checkered shorts pants

after some time went by i looked at the time and noticed it was 11:00pm and decided to get ready , i put on a black body suit and and a cheetah print mini skirt with black leggings and cheetah print fur leg warmers and black chunky heels , i decided to put my hair all down curly .

in the middle of doing my makeup nick texted me again.

me: ???

nickkk🏳️‍🌈: chris is gonna be there too

me: omg why didn't you tell me

nickkk🏳️‍🌈: he said he wasn't coming earlier and that he was going with a friend but ig they bailed on him and he's going

me: uhh 😬

nickkk🏳️‍🌈: sorry girlyy do you think you'll still be on for tonight??

me: ig so

i sighed and put my phone down and continued to do my eyeliner thinking about how I'm going to get through this night with Chris being there .

me and chris have been enemies for almost 4 years now , chris betrayed me .. we used to be inseparable he had my back and i had his , until he started acting weird after we had sex and a hookup for the first time unexpectedly, he started being distant towards me and talking with my enemy , they started dating and that broke my heart , when i tried to text him about he would always say "its none of your fucking business" and soon he was ignoring me , pushing me into lockers and bullying me.

i got up and walked outside to Kate's car .

"hey girll" kate said as her voice became higher. "hii" i said as i got into the car smiling "are you ready to go to the party kate said starting the car "not really" my voice became lower kate can tell something was wrong "what's wrong summer" she looked at me but also at the street "Chris is gonna be there" , Kate's face dropped.

kate was the only person i told about chris , she understood me so much and was the kindest person ever .

"WHATT" her voice became louder , "ya i know " i looked out the window , " well are you going to be okay?? , do you wanna go back home?" she was starting to panic , i laughed "it's fine ill be okay" , "are you sure sum??" she questioned "positive " i said while smiling.

but i wasn't okay.

once we got to the party my stomach sunk I was so nervous, but i got out anyway "im going to go to the bathroom ill be right back" kate screamed, the music was very loud "huh" i responded , she pointed to the bathroom and i shook my head okay , great way to start off a party .. by myself.

after a few moments of sitting down by myself looking awkward I decided to get a drink , when i got to the bar i grabbed a shot glass to get bacardi but when i was putting it back on the top shelf i hit someone's head "oh shit im so- " i said but realized who i hit.
