Wednesday Morning
" Hey ! George why are you late today "

My bestfriend Arthur asked me as he was waiting for me on the other side of the road , we usually walk to school , we both are great friends since 2nd grade ,he knows me well .
"Done with breakfast"
"Yes and you
" yep!, BTW when did you and Sophia become so close , I didn't realize it "
Well idk! ,I just wanted to gift her
something since I overheard her
conversation about her birthday.
you know I have this thing for her
, I am not sure what to make of this
one moment I feel a strong connection with her and next I can't tell if it's genuine.
"Oh relax , I'm sure you will figure it out someday, or maybe you always liked her you just realized it late or maybe you haven't realised it still"
My friend said while laughing at me , his words threw me into more thoughts
Now this disarray was killing me! ,I couldn't tell if i genuinely liked her or it's just a infatuation
I am torn about my feelings for her , one moment I'm captivated by her presence ,
but next second I feel like caught in storm where every gust of wind changes direction leaving me unsure of what i truly feel
We reached the school and the class started, "Sophia " wasn't present today it was the first time her seat was empty this year
and the teacher complaint to me twice that I wasn't mind full
I mean how am I suppose to be ,she isn't here today .
I opened a diary and wrote a
Poetry which came in my mind
Is it love or confusion , this feeling deep inside
The waves of feelings in my heart, full of emotional tides
In the back of my mind i wonder when will i know
Is it love that I'm discovering, or just dreams that come and go?
