Zootopia: Wildehopps

Wildehpps. Another ship I started shipping in middle school, all the way through my first year of high school. 

When did I start getting into this ship: I got into this ship and movie when I was in the hospital due to dizzy spells. I was in seventh grade at the time. The tv in the hospital had free movies that I was able to watch. I got through a few movies before I got to this movie. 

At first, Zootopia didn't really interest me until I finally decided to watch this. Halfway through the movie, I started getting really invested and really started to enjoy watching this movie, probably because I had to lay in a hospital bed all day with only my phone and mom to watch them with.

Then after an apology scene ( that had me in tears) I started thinking about this pair a lot and really paid attention to every little detail about every scene thay're in. After the movie ended, I started really liking this pair's dynamic and scenes they're in together. I started reading fanfics which is actually how I started my own account on this app.

Why I ship these two: They had so many fun scenes together and great banter even before they started getting along in the movie. Also Zootopia and this couple kept me company while I was staying in the hospital.

Some people's problems with this ship: One problem that people have with this ship is that these two are different species which would cause some problems in their society and would not be able to have children or wouldn't be able to make any. 

Why I disagree: Yes, this is an intersepcies couple but the whole theme of this movie is to try anything and not to be judged especially risking everything to be the other species no matter what people think. The second problem, is a good point but, we don't know how biology really works between different kinds of species.

Might not be biologically possible but there are a couple of reasons why it wouldn't matter. First of all, we don't really know if these two want to have any kids. Especially since if Judy does manage to biologically have kids with Nick, she would have to take a break from her dream job to recover.

Another reason would be that they could always adopt a child. Doesn't mean they can't have one. The child might not look like them since it would be adopted and wouldn't be biologically their's, they would still have a family however many they choose to have.

My favorite movie scene of them: Since Zootopia is getting a second movie in 2025 and a third movie possibly, I can't really speak for all of the movies but for now, I would say, the bridge scene ( yes, the one that had me in tears) where Judy finds Nick and apolgizes. When they hugged, I had wide smile across my face.

Hopefully, there will be more scenes between them in Zootopia 2 and hopefully if they make another one, Zootopia 3.
