3. So it begins

I wake to a loud bang at the door. I roll over and stare at the blank white wall for a solid minute or two before sitting up exhausted on the bed. I still have a headache from what ever that was they shot me with yesterday.

I spent a good chunk of last night tossing and turning, getting use to the sounds in the building. That and working on understanding my new found power connection I seem to have with Hyunjin, Jiaung and Minho.

I stand from the bed and see that on the floor is folded clothes, I pick them up and slowly start to change into these grey sweatpants that are too big so I cinch them and white top they provided. I don't have a mirror but I already know this looks like shit but what are my choices?

I walk towards the door and swing it open before making my way down to the common area. I come around the corner to find Jisung sitting on the couch in black sweatpants and a white top.Beside him is Minho sitting in a white t shirts and sweats.

I walk in and Jisung smiles up at me before standing off the couch.

"Cmon they are bringing breakfast" he says walking me to the table beside the 'living room' as we sit down and Minho follows.

Moments later two lady's walk out holding plates as they come and place them on the table in-front of us, leaving one plate out for the empty seat across the table.

"They gave you Fruit?"Jisung says looking at my plate as his has eggs and bacon "I'm vegan? They know that?" I say confused and Minho just nods

"They know everything, I'm vegetarian" Minho then says before starting to eat his food.

I begin to eat when suddenly Hyunjin comes out from around the corner in just his sweats as he makes his way around the table to his food.

I keep my eyes down on my food and away from him when suddenly Jisung breaks the silence.

"Well" he starts "Felix have you properly met Hyunjin here?" he smiles. I looked up at him, still avoiding eye contact with him and nod no. I'm too awkward for this.

he smiles and nods to me signalling me to talk to him. I resist the urge to roll my eyes before looking across to him.

"Hi" I say quietly and he just nods once to himself before standing as he stuffs his face with the last portion of food left on his plate, placing the dish back on the table, then walking across the room to a door i don't recognize and walking inside.

"He's friendly" I say rolling my eyes as I go back to eating.

"He's a good guy, I think" Jisung says smiling

"You think?" I say confused

"Well he's not really an open book kinda guy but he seems like a good guy under that hard exterior, yknow" he says in between bites

"Where did he go?" I say confused

"There is a small gym in there to get our energy" Minho says and I nod.

After breakfast me and Jisung sat down on the couch and started shuffling through tv stations on this ancient tv. I was pleasantly surprised to learn we actually have access to Netflix in this prison?

We started watching cartoons for a while when Hyunjin finally came back out of the gym covered in sweat as he walked out back towards the showers.

"He could wear a shirt" I say rolling my eyes, his every move is annoying me now after his rude introduction.

"He runs hot with the whole fire thing, I ain't complaining though" Jisung grins making me smile just a small bit. He is quite built, I guess it makes sense depending on how long he's been in here the gym is basically all one can do around here in their free time.

"Lee Felix?" Doctor Choi says as he comes out from the big metal doors. Shit. My heart drops.

I stand from the couch and look down at Jisung and he just nods. I cross the room slowly before walking with him back behind the big metal doors. Shit.

As we enter into the big white metal room I notice there is a large desk along the side wall and a metal table with handcuffs on it? What the hell are they going to do now?

"Don't be alarmed, this is just a safe space for us to learn about your powers" Dr Choi says from behind me.

"Why don't you take a seat there" he says pointing at the metal table in the middle of the room as he takes a seat on the metal roller chair in front of it.

I sit up on the bench and notice it has burnt marks everywhere, not suprised. I look down at him as he starts to read some papers in front of him.

"Felix as I'm sure you already know from socializing with the others, you are an elemental with the power of earth" he says and I nod

"I'm sure you're wondering what that entails and we'll, so are we" he says "this is where we will learn about you" 

"What about my parents, do they know where I am" I say confused

"No, they do not. They are in danger of your powers just as anyone else outside these walls are. You where a ticking time bomb without our help" he says and a tear forms in my eyes, the thought that my parents think I'm missing or dead breaks my heart. What will Olivia think?

"Here Felix I'm going to hand you this plant and I want you to channel it, I want you to put whatever energy you can into it he says before pulling a rollie table closer towards us and handing me the plant from it. I just sat there for a moment staring down at it not sure what to do?

"close your eyes, focus on the plant and put your energy into it" he says. I then close my eyes and exhale deeply before focusing on the plant. It's almost like this flowing feeling passes through me suddenly. When I open my eyes the small plant is now a small bush?!

I suddenly drop the plant in shock as it falls to the ground in front of me. What the fuck did I just do.

"Just as I suspected" Dr Choi says grinning before writing something down.

"What you did here Felix could literally save our world" he smiles.

"Again, this time bigger" he says rolling on his chair across the room to his desk before placing an empty pot on the ground and backing away.

"This is a tree, Felix. I want you to try and grow it from seed to full size, I know you can do it he says excitedly.
