25.State Of Mind

I wake to the sun shining in through the hack window on my face. I roll over to find the van is empty and the door is open? I quickly jump off the bed and around to the door to find we've stopped?

I look over as my eyes adjust to the sun when I realize we're looking at the ocean? We're on the coast?

"Where are we?" I say seeing Everyone outside talking.

"South of San Fransisco" Sam says looking at me.

"What now" I say looking around at the waves and people walking around

"We go south and out of mainland America" Hyunjin says

"How do we do this without a passport" I say looking at him and he doesn't say anything. I guess we don't have a plan for that bit.

"I'm going down to the water" Jisung says standing up from the ground

"Why?" Sam says confused

"I need to wash my body to some degree, you coming Felix?" he says looking at me and I wasn't planning on it but I suppose it wouldn't hurt. We walk down a dirt path to the water when Jisung turns back to Hyunjin.

"We need you" he says as if it's obvious

"I'm not leaving him here with the van alone" Hyunjin says and I roll my eyes

"Then let's all go" Jisung says turning back around.We walk to the beach as the cold water splashes up against our feet.

I turn around to find Minho, Sam and Hyunjin are coming now too. Sam stands there watching us as Hyunjin pulls his shirt off then his pants leaving them on the sand.

"It's freezing" Sam says as Hyunjin starts walking into the water

I start taking my clothes off too It's like 10 am and I'm basically almost naked with only my boxer getting in the ocean.

I step in and it's already warm, he really comes in handy. Jisung follows me in and I watch Hyunjin eyes shift down from my face to my exposed body then up to the beach, watching Sam's attention.

"Minho come in!" Jisung says going under the water

"I'm good" he says standing up on the side with Sam

"They're insane it's freezing in there" Sam says and Minho grins

We stay for maybe 5 more minutes trying to get the past couple of days off our skin before getting back out and grabbing our stuff.

I feel uncomfortable walking up the beach half naked, because a certain someone keeps looking at my ass. I quickly get back into the van looking for something to cover myself in when I find an oversized t-shirt. It will have to do.

I throw it on and quickly change into new underwear letting my stuff dry in the sink. Jisung comes in and changes next while I step out of the van giving him privacy in just the white oversized shirt that goes to my thighs and boxer. I start running my hands through my hair trying to ring it out.

Hyunjin's face looks surprised when he sees me and a grin grows across his lips at my exposed legs and choice of attire.

"You single Felix" Sam says from behind me and Minho laughs and I turn to him and grin.

I turn back to Hyunjin and his eyes are locked on Sam and if looks could kill.

"My shirt looks good on you though" Sam laughs again and I don't know if he knows he's getting under Hyunjin skin or not but this can't be good for their already strained acquaintanceship.

"I might just keep it" I say joking and he grins

Jisung hops out of the van as Hyunjin quickly changes into what must have been Sam's  pants, Sam doesn't dare say anything. We're using this poor boys van, money, food and now clothes. We should really do something for him.
