𝐊𝐄𝐈𝐒𝐇𝐀 got out of her car quickly and ran towards the porch of her and tupac's house. She got the house key out of her purse. She was crying. Keisha unlocked the front door.
"Kay!", exclaimed keisha.
A three year old kayla was sound asleep in her room. Keisha went straight to her daughter's room. She opened the door.
"Kayla, wake up baby, we're going to grandma afeni's", said keisha.
Kayla opened her eyes.
"Why mommy?", asked kayla.
"We can't stay here, we're staying at grandma's for a few days", replied keisha.
Keisha picked up kayla. She had a few suitcases with clothes in the back of the car. Kayla yawned and held a teddy bear tupac gave her for her birthday when she turned two.
Keisha opened the back door of the car. She put kayla in her car seat and put on her seat belt. Kayla had fallen asleep.
Keisha got in the front and turned on her car. She quickly drove off. Keisha wiped a tear that had rolled down her cheek and turned on the radio.
"Twenty-five year old rapper, tupac shakurwas shot outside while in a car nine minutes ago."
Keisha quickly turned off the radio and parked the car outside afeni's house.
Keisha got off the car and opened the back car door. She removed kayla's seat belt. She picked her up and closed the door.
Afeni came outside.
"Oh keisha, I'm glad you and the baby are here, I heard the car, it's all over the news", said afeni and reached keisha.
"Hey, I know, I turned on the radio but it was the news radio and talked about pac, I quickly turned it off", said keisha.
Afeni opened the door to her house. Keisha followed afeni and closed the door after herself.
"Put kayla in my room and you come back so we can talk", said afeni.
"Okay, I'll be right back", said keisha with kayla in her arms.
Keisha entered afeni's room. Her wall had pictures of her and tupac when he was younger.
Keisha gently put kayla on the bed. Kayla stirred in the bed while hugging her teddy bear.
"Mommy....", said kayla.
Keisha stopped walking and turned to look at kayla.
"Yes baby?", asked keisha.
"Are we going to see daddy tomorrow?", asked kayla in a sleepy voice.
Keisha didn't know what to say.
"Mama afeni!", exclaimed keisha.
Afeni quickly stood up from the couch and made her way towards her room.
"What happened?", asked afeni.
"Kayla asked me about him", whispered keisha.
"Grama, when is daddy coming? He's taking forever on his trip", said kayla.
Afeni knelt down in front of kayla..
"Daddy's gone baby", said afeni and tried not to cry.
"Where? Where did he go?", asked kayla.
"He's in heaven, remember what mommy told you about heaven?", asked afeni.
"Daddy died?", asked kayla.
"Yes baby, I'm so sorry", replied afeni.
Kayla started crying. Afeni and keisha hugged kayla.
"He will always be with you", said afeni.
Kayla sniffed and hugged her teddy bear. It was just her mother, grandmother, and her now.
