Unexpected Happiness II (Phayurain)

The day of departure arrived, Prapai took Sky and his son for their first family picnic. The whole little family's expressions were happy, Sky holding his little son in the driver's passenger seat, while Prapai drove next to him.

Waving casually to say goodbye to the family members who were standing in the courtyard to see him off. Then, the car drove off at a moderate speed followed by several black cars behind it, the backup bodyguards sent to watch over and guard the new little family.

After the few cars had driven away, the rest of the family members began to leave the courtyard to return inside the house. However, it was different with the pregnant omega who just stood still and continued to observe the movement of the car until it was completely gone. Both of his round eyes began to glaze over, while his lips were already curled up holding back his tears.

"Baby, come on in. They're gone." Phayu issued a gentle invitation to the omega beside him who was reluctant to leave. Phayu was only worried about him, Rain had been standing for a long time with such a heavy stomach. Phayu was sure that the omega was tired, as evidenced by his pale face and the sweat on his forehead.

"Baby, don't push yourself. You're already exhausted." Phayu coaxed him gently again, holding back him irritated tone. Phayu couldn't bear to see Rain standing in the heat like this, but his naughty omega was stubborn and wouldn't obey him.

"Baby." Phayu called him back softly and finally got the omega's full attention. "They'll be back soon." Phayu soothed the little omega who looked at him with a ready to cry expression.

Phayu gently wiped the sweat off the omega's forehead. "A-alpha hiks...." The tears that had been held back for a few minutes broke out. Rain hugged Phayu tightly, his hands clutching Phayu's back shirt until his hands were clenched into small fists.

Phayu returned the hug while putting some distance between himself and the omega's big belly. He pecked the top of the omega's hair which was slightly damp from sweat, not forgetting to give a gentle stroke as usual. His treatment was rewarded with an even louder sob, and an even louder head buried in his chest.

Phayu loosened his embrace slightly, cupping Rain's round cheeks gently as he wiped away his tears. "Feeling better?" Phayu asked softly, smiling serenely at the omega's weak head nod.

"Come on, let's go inside. It's very hot in here. Poor little baby." Phayu sent another invitation to the omega. Unlike before, a nod of the head was the immediate reply.

Phayu guided Rain to step slowly by hugging his waist. However, while still a few small steps Rain stopped only to look down for a glimpse of him slightly trembling legs. Phayu who understood it immediately swiftly lifted Rain's body and carried him bridal style.

"Alpha!" A soft call escaped Rain's lips when his body was suddenly lifted and placed on Phayu's arms. Both hands were swiftly draped around Phayu's neck, while his head rested comfortably on the alpha's sturdy shoulders.

"Don't push yourself, baby. Alpha knows your leg hurts, right?" Asked Phayu at the end of his words and got a nod of the head once again from Rain. Phayu chuckled in response, feeling both anxious and amused as Rain's golden hair tickled his exposed chest due to the two buttons of his top shirt being intentionally undone.

"Let's rest. Alpha will massage your feet while eating healthy snacks as usual." Phayu said softly as he continued to pace his feet with certainty. His face and gaze, which had softened earlier, had returned to their usual flat gaze.

Phayu stepped firmly, passed through the living room and took the elevator to the room. However, before actually stepping his foot into the elevator. Phayu turned his steps to move towards the kitchen which was a little far from his current position.
