14.Creating Life

I wake to the loud bang that usually wakes me. I slowly kick my feet out from my bed and sit there a moment when it comes back to me that Hyunjin laid down with me last night? He must have left after I fell asleep. I stand and move to my clothes drawer before pulling out some new underwear and a new pair of sweats and a white shirt.

"Hey" I hear Jisung say as he enters my room.

" So what happened??" he says grabbing my arm and pulling me down into my bed clearly wanting details about last night

"I think he might like me" I whisper looking down at my hands unsure

"Eeeeeee" he says getting excited "what happened

"Nothing really we just had a moment watching the movie but nothing happened, n then he laid with me tell i fell asleep last night

"This is good, this is really good" he beams"I'm still scared of this place now" I say bringing up him stupid Ouija Board idea then leaving me almost immediately after.

"Why?" he says confused for a second "oh my god he didn't tell you" he laughs

"What?!" I say confused

"That was Hyunjin and Minho manipulating the board and blowing out the light" he laughs "Minho told me when we left I thought Hyunjin would've told you, his story was bullshit too"

"Well he didn't! He even let me pee with him in the room and didn't tell me!!" I say now mad. Why would he not tell me?!"

"He what?" he says confused

"I had to go pee and i couldn't go alone! I can't believe him!" I say shocked, I get up off the bed in a puff as a start for Hyunjin room to confront him when Jisung grabs my hand and pulls me hack

"Wait!" he beams "we have to get them back, they don't know you know, he will tell Minho he didn't tell you" he smiles and my brain starts spiralling down ways to get him back

"Your right" I say nodding.

We eventually leave out of my room and meet up with minho sitting around the table waiting for breakfast, sitting in our normal spots.

As Jisung and Minho talk about the power outage last night Hyunjin comes out around the corner and walks to join us at the table.

He stares across the table at me as he sits down and settles in, not giving anything away. As if nothings changed.

Moments later the normal ladies come out and give us our plates of food before retreating away.

I continue to talk to Jisung through breakfast as Minho talks with Hyunjin,I find myself eaves dropping out of habit. Sometimes I would look over to find him already looking my way, forcing me to quickly look back at Jisung.

"Felix" I hear Dr.Choi call my name not too long after breakfast.

I enter into his office as he leads me down to the stairwell heading to the terrarium.

"As you can see there was a lot of death here" he says as we walk out into the dead and withered, burnt ash of the trees and life I had built.

"We're going to rebuild it today" he grins taking his normal seat and nodding for me to do my thing.

I step out into the middle of the room and lean down, picking up a handful of ash and dust.

I close my eyes and place my other free hand above the dust, focusing my energy into it.

Moments later I feel the growth and life to find I have grown the rose I envisioned. I place it down on the ground before closing my eyes again, focusing on my feet as I start to change the ash to a field, regrowing my vines and bushes, flowers and trees.
