And so there they were.. going through investigation after investigation, trying to find just anything they can get their hands on to try and get a lead from the disappearance.
Remi just couldn't give up, they went to every nook and cranny the castle had to offer, but to no avail...
*Huff..huff...*," remi.. I told you..we can't handle this...let's...let's just..give up."
Lelen was tired. He knew this was hopeless and yet he still let his best friend go through this
"No...I can't just give up...I can't...."
Lelen sighs
"Remi......."
Lelen took a moment..
"Fine...but for now, let's just go home yeah?...let's just rest for a bit.."
Lelen looks at remi tiredly
Remi, seeing their best friend tired, eventually gave in..
"Ok...but we're not giving up! got it?"
"Whatever you say buddy.."
As they head back, remi couldn't help but notice someone spying on them
"Wait, lelen..."
"Yeah? What is it??"
Suddenly remi runs off, following the mysterious figure from behind
"Oh come on man!"
lelen grumbles following remi as they run after the mysterious figure
As remi follows the mysterious figure, they come to a dead end.
*Huff,..huff!*
"I finally caught you!"
Although remi caught the mysterious figure, they were too tired... Their legs had given up from running too much
The mysterious figure stares at remi and as if it were intended, remi finally saw who it was..
It was..remi?!
Remi couldn't believe what they were looking at, how could it be possible to have someone look identically similar to them...
Remi was confused
"Just..who are you?.."
The figure didn't answer..
The intense atmosphere was suddenly broken when lelen's voice could be heard
The figure gives one last look at remi before fleeing the scene by merging into the wall and disappearing..
As the figure disappeared lelen arrived, helping remi up to stand
"Geez dude! Don't give me a heart attack. I told you we needed to rest, now you can't even stand properly!"
Remi was in a daze, although finally noticing a sewege hole.
"What?, what are you looking at?"
Lelen asks confused on why his best friend is looking at a sewege hole
"Let's enter it.."
Remi said to lelen
"What?, why??"
"I just have a gut feeling"
"Well can't argue with that"
Lelen sighs and assists remi as they enter the sewege hole.
As they entered inside, the duo were shocked to see every civilian stuck to the wall, all were covered in a goo like substance...
