"Magnus?"

"Rosella, hi... I didn't know this was your treehouse."

"No, it isn't. Someone just showed me this place."

Does that mean that my guts were right? That Magnus was the boy who showed me the treehouse. Before I could ask him something, he had to leave.

The next day, Xander pointed out that I looked distracted. "Is something bothering you?"

"Kind of... Do you know where Magnus is right now?" I asked.

"Probably in the field? That guy's always in the field. Sometimes Mom would scold him for overdoing sports."

"What did you say?"

"I said, his time is always unto sports,"

"That's why his Mom scolds him?" I asked.

"Yeah. Although, I'm the worst. I'm always not around."

"What do you mean?" I asked. Not around? What does he mean by that?

"You do know that Magnus and I are siblings, right?"

"What?!" Maybe my reaction was a little too loud, it made the people inside the Library turn around.

"You're Magnus's brother?"

"Why are you so shocked?" He asked.

After class, I immediately went to Magnus and talked to him.

"Magnus, can we talk?" I asked.

"Another question about the letter? I already told you, it wasn't me..."

"No, no, no... Not about that. Why were you in the treehouse last night?"

"Because I was looking for someone."

"Your brother?"

"Why do you have so many questions? If you're that curious, yes. I was looking for my brother."

Now it all made sense. I mistook Magnus for Xander since Xander wasn't always around. I have no idea if Xander still remembers me, but tonight, I'll go to the Treehouse.

As I was climbing to the treehouse, my hand brushed through a piece of wood that made my hand bleed.

"I didn't know you still go here."

As I was looking for a cloth that could wrap my hand, I was surprised to see Xander. His eyes were immediately drawn to my hand. He came closer to me to heal the wound in my hand.

"If this heals, we'll have a matching scar." He said. I looked at him with a confused face until I noticed the scar on his hand.

"During a heavy rain, I hurriedly climb the ladder to get inside this treehouse. I then wounded myself. "

"You healed your wound yourself?" I asked.

"Well, I have to. There was nobody else here but myself." He answered.

He looked around and said, "You took good care of this treehouse, I can tell."

"When you moved into my school, why didn't you tell me?"

"I never knew that it was you. Until I overheard you and Magnus outside the house. I immediately thought that you were the girl I trusted to take care of this treehouse."

That night, all of our questions were answered. And I had a friend to talk to and to share wholesome memories with. After class, we would go there to watch the sunset go down. No one knew about that place, just us. We were there for each other. During the heaviest storms, he'll cover my ears. When I'm crying, he'll wipe my tears.
I knew he wasn't staying. He was only here because of his grandfather's request.
