"You all ready for dance?" My mom asks me and my sisters as we're about to leave the house

"Yeah, I guess" I shrug

"What's wrong, babe?" My mom asks me

"I feel like it's gonna be awkward after that whole things last competition where Christi got into a fight and Kelly was mad at me" I explain

"Don't worry about that, baby. Just do what you do best, dance" She assures me and I nod

I try to finish all my math and science homework on the way to dance. After the 45 minute drive, I pretty much finished, so I brought the rest of my homework in to complete between classes. I grabbed my dance bag and we made our way inside

We went to the dancers den where everyone was. We made our way over to our corner so we could change. I took off my leggings and baby tee shirt to reveal my red booty shorts and black top. Then I put my hair in a ponytail and clipped in a black bow

"Girls, let's go! Come on, ladies!" Abby yells and we ran into studio A. I sat between both my sisters

"First, I want to talk about this past weekend. I am very disappointed. Every single one of you could have done better on your solo." Abby scolds us.

"Moving on, I want to forget about last weekend. What's going to happen this weekend?" Abby asks as she turns the board around

"It's the ALDC Showcase" Paige reads from the board as I look at pyramid

Mari
Maddie Brooke Nia
Chloe Paige Vivi-Anne Mackenzie

"We're doing the new number, Sugar Daddies, at the showcase." Abby tells us

"Mari, you won the overall high score at the competition. Boom" She points to my headshot and I smile

"Maddie, came second to your sister, amazing job. Boom" She says and Maddie smiles and I high-five her

"Nia, forgot the solo, kept dancing, made it up, went on, finished with the music."

"Chloe did a great job. There were some other situations. You're here. I want to see that attitude improve on stage. Yes? You never know who's watching you." Abby lectures

"All right. I have a few surprises during the showcase. I don't want to pressure you, but in the audience, at the showcase, is going to be an agent coming to seek new talent and looking for new clients to sign." Abby explains and we cheer

I'm really excited for the Broadway talent agent to come. I mean, it's a really big deal and I hope he likes me and my talent

"Moms, you are going to be performing in the show, as well." Abby announces and we gasp and cheer. "Oh, Cathy, you're going to be the choreographer."

"You guys are in for trouble" Cathy laughs

"Nationals are getting closer and closer. With every competition you get better and you get stronger. So this showcase is going to be a nice chance to entertain rather than compete, but it all is leading up to nationals. Because we want to do what?" Abby asks

"Win!" We respond together

"You got it. All right. Go ahead. You're dismissed. Guys up, Sugar Daddies. All right, let's go. Okay. Okay, you're like mosquitoes. Get away. Get away. Get away"
