Germany, 1945, the Allies have pushed back against the Axis forces. The sky is gray, and littered with bombs and planes. Deafening explosions are heard in the distance. A soldier steps forward, and fires his gun at the enemy. He jumped inside a trench, taking cover from falling debris. A man with an orange, bushy mustache yelled at him, "Where are those reinforcements, Jack! We're being blown to bits out here!" Jack shouted above the sounds of gunfire, "Have faith, Dugan. They're on their way!" A large metallic man wearing German armor plates stomped toward them. Its eyes were red and glassy. It lifted up its arm, and a miniature gatling gun popped out. "Halt, Americans!" It called in a muffled voice. Jack realized he was out of ammo. He slowly backed against the wall of black clay behind him. The Kriegstaffebot readied its weapon. A red and white shield slammed into the back of the bot's neck. Its whole head was sliced off, leaving exposed wires and tubes. The headless body fell to the ground. Jack looked up. The flying shield was caught midair. A muscular man stood above. He wore a blue and red suit covered in stars and stripes. Captain America. Behind him, several other heroes stood. The demigod, Wonder Woman. The Crimson Calvary, The Flash. The heavy weight, Wildcat. Along with numerous others. The Captain lifted his shield above, he called out, "Justice Society.....Assemble!" Jack grinned as he re-loaded his gun. As he cocked it back he called, "Look alive, boys! The cavalry's here!" Captain America pointed forward, "Attack!" He leaped out, punching a German soldier in the face. Doctor Fate created an enormous energy construct. It sent a wave of blue energy that disabled much of the enemy artillery. Black Canary opened her mouth, and released a sonic scream. A tank in front of her was thrown backward and destroyed. The Flash darted around the battlefield, disarming dozens of Axis soldiers in mere moments. Wonder Woman used her lasso to wrap around the wing of a bi-plane. She whirled herself around, tossing the plane into the ground. The pilot escaped with a parachute, but the plane crashed and exploded on impact. Wildcat leaped into action, dodging bullets and knocking down soldiers with ease. He grabbed two Axis soldiers, and smacked their heads together.

Jack charged forward, "We need to move!" he yelled, firing off his rifle. A man with black hair and a long beard followed him close behind. "I hear ya, bub!" He gruffly said. Captain America socked an axis soldier on the side of his head. He looked forward, the Hydra fortress cast a long shadow across the battlefield. Jack glanced over at him, "Cap! What are you doing?" He called out. The Captain stood firmly, "I'm going to finish this," he said quietly. Doctor Fate levitated nearby, he called to the Captain in a distorted voice, "Rodgers! I sense something within that building. An artifact of great power. Be careful." Captain America nodded, and continued on.
