Minho is out on the road trying to flag someone down as we make it out to Hyunjin he grabs my wrist and pulls me ahead making me run faster with Jisung as we make it out to the road.
Suddenly we hear a helicopter but we can't see it yet and I start to panic when Jisung runs out to the road and is able to stop a camper van?!
"PLEASE TAKE US PLEASE" Jisung screams as he already has the door open as we start to file in the back.
"Who are you?" The young lean man our age with short black hair says from the front seat, scared out of his mind obviously
"DRIVE" Hyunjin yells as he shuts the door
"Please we will explain" Jisung says through heavy breaths and with that the car rolls back into the road as the scared boy starts driving. I start pulling off my layers as I'm dying of heat from running with all these clothes.
Hyunjin leaves the back of the camper van and sits in the front seat facing the stranger making sure he drives as I fall back onto the bed in the back, panting and trying for air as my heart is racing so fast I can hear it banging in my skull.
"We need you to get us out of here" Hyunjin says through even long breaths as he starts rummaging through the glove box before finding a map.
"Where are we" Minho says sitting back into the chair in the back with Jisung on his lap
"Montana" the boy says unsure of the question.I can't believe they took us all the way here we're so far from home."What is happening" he says softly keeping a sharp eye on all of us through his mirrors
"We were kidnapped and they are looking for us" Jisung says and Hyunjin shoots him a look not to say anything
"Kidnapped? Shouldn't we be going to the police?!" He says frantic"No" Hyunjin says sternly "keep driving straight"
"So..." he says with a shaky voice "your prisoners?" He says clearly scared. Technically he's wrong and right.
"No" I say quickly and he nods but doesn't say anything else
"Where are you going" Hyunjin says grabbing a pen and drawing a line on the map when I hear a helicopter pass over us and my heart stops for a second. Thank god this is a relatively busy road.
"Seattle" he says unsure and Hyunjin nods "we're going to California" he says and Minho looks at him weird but he doesn't explain himself.
"Okay" the boy says and nods, clearly shaking he's scared.
We drive in uncomfortable silence for at least a couple hours when we finally get off the road and enter into a small town? I finally feel like we might be okay? We actually got here, I have to be dreaming.
"I need gas" the boy says finally breaking the silence
Hyunjin leans forward and checks his dash before nodding. The boy pulls off the main road and into a gas station.
The boy then goes to open his door to get out when Hyunjin quickly lunges across from his seat and grabs the door and pulls it shut before locking it.
"Minho" Hyunjin says sitting back down not moving his eyes off the driver.
Minho gets up and moves to the door before handing Hyunjin the electric baton he took from the guard. He then slowly opens the door and looks around before stepping out to a quiet dark ghost town as the sun has now went down.
"Fill it" Hyunjin says reaching forward and grabbing the guy's wallet from his pants before handing it to Minho,
We sit in silence as the guy watches Hyunjin grip the Baton facing him in case he moves.
