Chapter 5: an end to it all.....?

after all that, so many years had passed. Evan had seen what had happened.

he saw his father get brung back up as Springtrap after 30 years, only to burn, be brung back and 4 years later, died in another fire. he had seen that same fire had burned Elizabeth, who was still possessing Circus baby, only now she was referred to as Scrap baby due to looking so much different after being ejected from Ennard or something.

was it true that William just won't let his soul rest? will he continue to be brung back, no matter how absurd it is? no matter how clear it is he should stay dead?

but now he had friends. the other ghost kids where here for him.

and most of all, there was Cassidy, someone he had grown to love as more then a friend.

the two understood each other the most. it was so clear from the both of them. they liked each other's company, and they trusted each other the most.

Evan had also made good friends with the others. at worst, they were just on decent terms, and at best, they were close.

still, Evan wished he was still alive. but he felt as if he had met Cassidy before. before both of them met they're demise. it was..... seemingless.

but at the end of the day, he was just.... happy to have them.

they were the only possible company he had besides the Fredbear plushie. they were his new family. the found family that he couldn't asked anything better.

and Cassidy? she was, to him, the best.... non-platonic friend he could ask for? [Writer's notes:  yeah, i was about to use the other word, but i realized they're still children. i know, strange.]

they're friends accepted them for what they are. Evan was happy he had found someone who understood and cared for his pain. it was so long.

but he also knew what Michael did when he was in that pizza place in 2027. and even though Evan could never forgive that prank that became the biggest mistake Michael would ever do, he still sympathized with the pain. and Elizabeth? Evan had understood that Elizabeth wanted they're father to be proud. but Evan knew the way she tried was wrong.

and now Elizabeth's soul is free. and so is Michael's, presumably.

but it didn't matter, because William would always come back.

but he would always die again somehow. that might be the cycle that would be followed.

he had been stuck in a perpetual hell of some sort, only to escape somehow and return as.... Burntrap.

and the Fredbear plush? Evan still had it. even after everything, he had still heard those words.

we will put you back together.

perhaps he was put back together. perhaps the only scar to be truly healed was how he felt alone.

but where to go from here was the question he thought of.

but at the end of the day, he looked forward to being left with Cassidy.

because to them both, the feelings they shared would always be one thing:

Gold.... just gold...
