"We believe some of Doyle's PD cronies. You're coming, right? I don't wanna say more about what the team is planning to do about it."
Vanessa says "My flight leaves La Guardia at 10 tonight."
"Cool. Um; Vinessa and Jordan are here. Put 'em on?"
"We can't...can't lose Kev, 'Ness...we c-can't..." Vinessa bursts into sobs.
"I KNOW mi amor...I know. I promise you that they'll pay. Is Jordan there?"
"Yeah. J...'Nessa wants you..."

"Hey, Papa. Can you be strong for your sister, please? I'll be there after midnight. He'll be ok-who's stronger than Kev? I'll tell you who: NADIE (nobody). You'll see. I love you both."

Vanessa details her flight arrival time and secures a promise that the team will keep an eye on Kevin's siblings in the meantime.
Adam is the first to speak. "V don't worry 'bout a fucking thing, yeah? Voight made Kev a priority and Erin Lindsey is on loan from the FBI. We think we know who it is and we're running down every lead."
"What Ruz said, 'Nessa" Jay adds. "Voight's over at Superintendent Miller's asking for more resources; Kim and Torres-he's on loan from Gang Squad-are sitting with Kev. Hailey and I relieve them in a few hours."
"OK. I'm gonna pack and head over to La Guardia-I should be there by 1am or a little after."
"One of us will be there by then to grab you up" Hailey assures her.

Doris Diaz yells "Dr. Halstead; Dr. Choi!" and runs toward Bagdad 3, where the machines connected to Kevin Atwater blink and screech loudly:
"Stats are 92/70 and falling" April Sexton calmly informs the room.
"Breath sounds, Doris?" asks Ethan Choi.
"Atelectasis (partially collapsed lung) right side" she reports, reaching for a chest tube in anticipation of the doctors' request.
Will Halstead: "Good job, Doris...scalpel!"
"Help him, Will!" Kim Burgess screams.
Dante Torees tells her "C'mon, Kim; let's give 'em some room"...
"Get your fucking hands off me!" she spits, struggling in his grasp.
"April!" says Ethan.
"On it! Hailey come on-- let's go outside"...
"O2 down to 75...70!" Doris calls.
"Cut him or lose him, Will!" warns Ethan.
"TEN SECONDS! MAKING INCISION...chest tube in!"
April, returning to the room says "O2 climbing."
"Bilateral breath sounds normal," says Will. "Good job everyone.
