It was 13 inches long, it was the length of her arm, a bit of a cross between a sword and a dagger. Allison called it a swagger, there is a reason why Allison isn't permitted to use Artemis' blade.
The blade itself was blessed by a Darack, also known as a dark druid. It's cuts weaken it's prey, they cannot be healed with any kind of magic, which means if you were to cut a werewolf or vampire with it, they would not heal as fast as they are used to. Only a druid can heal the wounds.
