AN: First of all I'd like to apologise for not updating this story in over a year I've just had a lot going on in my life and that caused me to fall into a writing slump for this.
However, I didn't want to scrap this story and leave it unfinished so I've decided to make sure I do finish writing it.
There will probably only be a few more chapters of the story but I will definitely finish it and give it and ending.
I'm not sure if anyone is still reading this but if your are thank you so much and I hope the rest of the story will be good for you!
Chay's POV
After Macau and Porchay had finished getting ready the successfully sneaked out of the compound and made their escape into a near-by sideroad where they were soon picked up by one of Chay's friends and taken to the party Chay was risking his brother's wrath to get to.
Macau didn't really know any of Chay's friends that well but thanks to his easy-going personality and closeness to Porchay, he easily bonded with the group as Porchay had expected.
The journey wasn't long but after their interactions before the party as well as all the time they had been spending together while training, Chay felt as though something had changed between himself and the other boy.
There was a kind of tension pooling at his stomach that he couldn't put a name to but it definitely wasn't bad, not bad at all. In fact, it was kind of pleasant, and when he looked at Macau laughing along with his other friends the feeling re-appeared and brought a smile to his face (and a blush to his cheeks).
The party was hosted by some guy from their school Chay had never met before but was close to a few of his older friends. As they pulled up the gang clambered out of the car and made their way to the front door.
Chay was slightly in awe at the building, of course he had seen large houses before, he literally lived in a mafia compound, but this was different... the building looked like something out of a fantasy novel. More like a castle than a house.
The door swung open revealing a boy, a little older than him, opened the door with a smile, he was quite tall and handsome (objectively) and seemed friendly as Chay watched him greet some of Chay's friends before turning to him.
"Ai Ohm, you didn't tell me you were bringing such a cutie! I don't think we've met before; I'd remember a face like that." He said with a smirk causing Chay to blush involuntarily at the compliment.
"I'm Ben. What's your name sweetheart?" The boy- Ben asked leaning against the door frame stopping Chay from easily entering as his other friends filtered through the passage.
Porchay was about to stutter out a response as he felt a heavy arm wrap around his shoulder's. "We were in the same class for years and you've already forgotten my name Ben... How rude!" Macau responded, his sarcastic tone more bitter than Chay had ever heard before.
"Macau, what are you doing here?" Ben's sweet voice now filled with mirth. "Honestly I don't know." Macau said with a clearly fake smile. "My friend here just begged me to come with him. And how could I say no to those pleading Bambi eyes?"
Chay began to call the other boy's obvious lie out "I did not-" when he felt a hand cover his mouth. "Hush now Bambi, go on in and I'll see you later, okay?" Macau said to him with a glint of something Chay couldn't quite decipher in his eyes.
Chay just nodded against the palm pressed firmly to his lips, unable to make a sound even if he wanted to with the way his stomach was doing tiny flips inside of him. He felt the hand fall from his face and a tiny push at his lower back encouraging him to enter the room.
He walked through the entryway in a slight daze as he could feel eyes on his back. Macau was acting so weirdly but for some reason it was making Chay feel things... things he hadn't felt since Kim... things he never thought he would feel again... because of Macau.
Did he like Macau?
What the fuck.
