1: Graduation
Three cheers for all! It's finally the end of a glorious beginning! College graduation! There were ups and downs, ins and outs, right side up and upside downs, but they were all just a mere stepping stone in the pond of life!
Hopping down the concrete steps of his former school fully dressed in college regalia, Henry Emily looked into the clear blue skies and smiled with pride. Wanting to fulfill his childhood dreams of making robots, he majored in engineering with the expressed hope to show the world who Henry Emily was. And his journey was about to begin right now... as soon as his tardy partner in crime showed up.
-William: "Henry!" a young man called from behind, excitedly and out of breath.
-Henry: "Took you long enough, William! What, did all of your "adoring fans" hold you up?" Henry chuckled, adjusting his glasses.
-William: "Come on, Henry, I wouldn't go that far! I just had to say goodbye to a few people, that's all! I also had to take some time away for Clara, you know how it goes." William chuckled, slightly blushing.
-Henry: "Clara? That's your girlfriend, right? How is all of that going, by the way?" Henry asked curiously, leaning against a railing.
-William: "It's going well, really well. We're thinking about getting a place together in the next few months. Oh, what a girl she is, Henry! I think she might be the one!" William swooned, dramatically sitting on the stairs.
-Henry: "I'm glad you feel that way, William. You've been dating since sophomore year in highschool, I feel like this would only be natural." Henry smiled, straightening himself up on the railing.
-William: "How about you and your girlfriend? Emilie, right? Are you planning on making her a "Mrs. Emilie Emily" any time soon?" William asked, leaning forward in intrigue. At that Henry lost his balance and nearly fell off the railing.
-Henry: "W-Well, I'd say we've gotten close, not as close as you and Clara, of course, but I don't know if we're ready to get THAT intimate, if she even wants that... You know?" Henry stammered with a beet red face.
William wryly smiled, taking much joy in seeing his friend squirm and shimmy in his seat.
-Henry: "Besides, we've only started dating a bit before college, I don't know if we've been together long enough to even begin thinking about it." Henry chuckled nervously, adjusting his glasses.
-William: "That's still 6 years Henry. I think that's plenty of time to get to know someone." William scoffed with a grin.
-Henry: "Well, I mean, different people get married at different times. You've been seeing Clara for close to 9 years and you're not ready to marry her yet, right?" Henry asked, crossing his arms.
