As Sophie slowly opened her eyes, she saw a blurry light illuminating the room. She tried to move her hands but found out that they were hooked to the wall, and so were her legs. She was hanging from a large test board and couldn't free herself.

"What the heck? How did I... argh, come on," she grunted as she tried to pull her hands. However, they wouldn't budge. Suddenly, she had an idea. She could try using her powers.

"Let me try this," she muttered. As she tried to use her power, she felt a sharp sting that moved throughout her arm and then to her body. She was electrocuted, and she fainted.

In her unconscious state, she heard footsteps getting closer. "I wouldn't do that if I were you," a deep voice said as a man came to her side.

Sophie's heart was pounding as she looked up to see a tall man wearing a lab coat. His long brown hair reached his neck, and his glasses shone under the bright light that was coming from the ceiling.

"Who are you? Where is Lisa?" Sophie asked angrily, eyeing the man.

"Oh? I thought your friend had already introduced me," Dr. Dorgan replied, his hands still in his pockets.

Sophie remembered and said in a furious expression, "Dr. Dorgan."

"Ah, now you remember," Dr. Dorgan chuckled.

"What have you done with Lisa? Where is she?" Sophie shouted, her rage intensifying.

"Calm down, Sophie. She is fine. You two will join the party, very soon," Dr. Dorgan replied with a sly grin on his face.

Sophie was confused. "What do you mean?"

Dr. Dorgan smirked and pulled out a button switch from his pocket. As he pressed the button, the room filled with light. What Sophie saw next left her in horror. She saw the mutant children inside a large tube that was filled with water, with oxygen masks on their mouths. The children were in a deep slumber.

"What are you doing to them?" Sophie yelled, her voice shaking with fear.

"Just improving them scientifically so they can become more useful," Dr. Dorgan replied nonchalantly.

"By turning them abnormal? You are a monster! You want to use children as weapons?" Sophie shouted at him, disgusted by his cruelty.

"Yes, the same way I wanted to use Lisa. But she was just a stubborn little brat. All she wanted was to go back to her family, even though we told her she can't. But I didn't know that she was able to find the cure and everything about it. I was quite impressed that you two were able to have it in your grips," Dr. Dorgan said, his eyes glinting with a hint of admiration.

"Well, almost we did. But then you interrupted and came in the way," Sophie retorted, her voice filled with frustration.

"Yes, but what surprises me is that she thought she could do it," Dr. Dorgan laughed.

"Yes, cause she knew, if Dr. Steven could do it, then so could she." Sophie implied.

Dr. Dorgan started laughing very loudly, which made Sophie puzzled as to what she had just said.

"You think that's funny?"

"But unfortunately, he died," Dr. Dorgan replied, his laughter subsiding.

"Yes, the MCA people killed him," Sophie said, looking confused.

"No, no, no. He died... in here," Dr. Dorgan said, putting his hand on his heart.
