The Strange Encounter

Dark Cacao along with other warriors,had to visit the vanilla kingdom since he was invited by Pure Vanilla,but he couldn't leave the throne vacant,otherwise there may be a cookie who would want to take the throne,just like Affogato. So he left the kingdom in the hands of Caramel Arrow,his faithful first watcher.

But even though the kingdom was left in the hands of Caramel Arrow,she still continued her duties as a watcher of the Dark Cacao kingdom. Suddenly she saw that some strange cookie had set up their camp near there,so she left her post and went to check on the cookie. *rustle* "Wait,what is that..?!" Questioned the cookie,so the cookie prepared themself if it was a wild beast. Caramel Arrow went through the leafy bushes and finally found the cookie that had set up their camp.

"Hel- Wait..Dark choco..!?" Caramel said as she looked at the him in shock. "I didn't expect that you'd find me.." Dark choco replied. "..What are you doing here..?" Caramel Arrow asked. "I had nowhere to go so I had to-" Dark choco was interrupted by a loud familiar cry. "Is that..?" "Yes,it's a snow lion's cry we have to go! We might freeze out here!" Caramel said.

"But..where will we go..? We can't go to the castle.." Dark choco muttered. "I..I can sneak you in..King Dark Cacao isn't here so.." Caramel Arrow hesitantly said. "W-what...!?" Dark choco replied in shock by these words. "You heard me! I refuse to do nothing while your life is being put at stake!!" Caramel said. "..Fine,let's hurry up.." Dark choco said,feeling a bit unsure of his decision. Caramel Arrow took his hand and ran to the citadel trying her best to not get caught.Dark choco flinched a bit by this but he brushed the feeling of and let her guide him.

They managed to arrive at the citadel without getting caught by anyone,they went straight to Dark choco's room and locked the door so that no one would find them. "That was a close call" Caramel panted,with a bit of laughter in her voice. "I know" Dark choco replied laughing as well."I see you still wear that necklace I gave you.." Caramel arrow smiled. It has been a long time since they exchanged laughters and smiles. "Stay here and don't go out,I still have to patrol the kingdom ok?" Caramel said. "Alright then" Dark choco replied.

Caramel's patrol soon ended and she came to Dark choco's room where she found him waiting for him. "Finished your patrol? That was quicker than I remembered it before.." Dark choco said with a smiling face recalling the past. Caramel turned red a bit after seeing the smile on Dark choco's face before replying,

"I kinda had to so I could check on you and..maybe,catch up..". "Ah,I see,well.. how have you been doing..?" Dark choco said. "I've been doing good" Caramel Arrow smiled. They chatted for a while and saw that it was dark and decided to go to sleep.
