Pete was a 11 year old omega boy who refused to grow up. He was scared of middle school and he was on the Elementary soccer team. He wasn't an all star player or whatever, most members refused to give him the ball because of his secondary sex.

Patrick was a 7 year old alpha boy who was a hopeless romantic. He was scared of the monster named "Josh" under his bed and he was on the junior scholastics team.

Pete and Patrick met at a Concert 2 years ago. Patrick's mother, Patricia, was obsessed with Sheryl Crow, and tried to get Patrick into her. He did, because his mom liked her and he liked his mom. Pete's mom, Dale, was obsessed. But he wasn't so keen. They sat next to each other in the nosebleeds, and Pete and Patrick became inseparable since.

Well, Patrick was velcroed to Pete.

Pete was 9 at the time, but he was in his little boy bliss. If you asked Dale, he acted younger. Still does, actually. Patrick was 5, well developed skills, though.

They chatted it up, laughing and joking, and ever since, Patrick put all his money on Pete and Pete alone that he's his soulmate.

Pete was a moody 11 year old, almost 12. He was leaving childhood innocence and every day when he looked in the mirror he saw his face and body getting a bit softer, less boyish and rectangular. And it scared him. He's starting to look like the label. Unpresenting omega.

Patrick was blissfully unaware! He held onto Pete the same, curves or no curves. He would walk to school with him every day while he still had elementary with Patrick, the end of the year hitting close. More walking Pete, actually. Grabbing onto his wrist and guiding him like it was a leash.

Patrick walked in front of Pete, eating a rice crispy treat and holding his arm, too nervous to hold hands at a fresh 6 in the morning, the lake effect and wind putting a light blush on his nose and cheeks.

"You know, Petey, I think you're gonna be my omega when I'm older."

Pete looked down at the smaller boy, his eyes wide.

"Why do you think that Patrick?"

"I mean, I've wanted you to be my omega forever now."

"I'm much too old for you."

"Mama said it was okay. Right now, at least. Says it's puppy love. I don't know what that means."

"It's love exclusively for pups. Basically, nothing past basic affection."

Patrick stopped walking, looking back at Pete with big eyes.

"What do you mean? I feel much more than little affection for you."

Pete chuckled. His mom told him Patrick was just learning along his instincts and it was nothing.

"Oh yeah? Prove it lunchbox."

Patrick huffed and stomped. He didn't know what to do. He didn't really know what real alphas and omegas do. He remembered walking in the living room while Dad was watching his favorite show, though. An alpha bit the wrist of an omega. It was seen as a lovely little gesture. So that's what Patrick did. He grabbed Pete's wrist and turned it, putting his lips to the scent gland and biting.

Pete's eyes went wide, hissing slightly. He pulled away, his eyes wide.

Patrick was shocked. Pete's skin tastes good. He'd never thought of that before.

Pete looked at his wrist, a little red bite there. One that would scar. Patrick just marked him.

"Dude, what the hell! You marked me!"
