During the extermination arc, yuta made sure to find yuji as fast as he could and kill him since the higher-ups specifically assigned yuta to kill yuji, it doesn't matter what he needs to do. He was going to kill sukuna vessel one way or another.
"...Your not alone?"
A voice said behind yuji, the boy quickly turned around and saw yuta one of the special-grades, and naoya.
"Who are you?"
"I'm on your side, I'm here to kill itadori yuji as well."
"..."
"I'll let you kill him, and I'll deal with... His companion."
"...okay."
Yuta took out his sword fully from his bag and aimed at yuji quickly, naoya attacked choso to spilt them apart a bit. Just enough for no worries - yuji took this chance to run away from yuta "he's fast." He thought to himself while running and making semi distance with yuta. The moment yuji looked away from yuta he threw a car at yuji and got on top of it he aimed his sword at yuji - to his surprise, yuji dodged it which amazed yuta. Yuji used the same car that yuta used to block one of yuta attacks but it didn't do much since yuta almost broke the car so yuji couldn't use it to his advantage. "The amount of curse energy from him is insane, even from his sword he has a lot..." While yuji kept running, he reached an wall and turned his attention to yuta. before he knew it rika held him against the wall
"huh? What is this..? I can't move"
"Sorry, hold him a bit more steady and tightly rika."
Yuta aimed his sword at yuji heart and stabbed it, killing the boy right there. He pulled his sword out of the boy chest and grabbed onto his hood to drag him to an location
"rika... You held him a bit to tight.."
"I'm...sorry."
"It's fine, you need to be a bit more gentle with my sensei's students, Besides.. it's my fault really! I told you to hold him tighter. I should've been more specific."
Yuta smiled softly at rika, he kissed her despite her being a curse. While he was dragging yuji lifeless body he thought to himself; "he held back on me... if he didn't, perhaps I would've lost against him and got injured more then him." He paused for a moment then started walking again to where naoya and choso was fighting at, he used the base of his sword to knock out choso and then turned his attention to maki cousin
"Ah, you almost died didn't you?"
"Gah..."
Yuta used his reverse-curse technique to heal naoya from the blood-poison
"Be more careful. Don't underestimate yuji and his companion, trust me.. their much stronger then they seem."
"..tsk."

While yuta was waiting for yuji to wake up, he slightly got worried and panicked
"Ah.. what if he doesn't wake up? What if I actually did kill him? That'll be terrible.. but he's breathing so.. maybe it's fine, hopefully.. gojo-sensei would be upset at me if he's dead..."
Yuta watched yuji carefully while he slept, he shook his head and finally convinced himself that he's fine. Rika hugged yuta from behind which startled him
"Ah, rika-! I didn't think you'll actually come see me."
"Did I scare you?"
"Mhm.."
"Aww, you still get scared so easily!"
Rika chuckled, she kissed yuta cheek which made him flustered.
"your still so loving as ever."
Yuta allowed rika to continue kiss his face
"Just for you, you are my husband after all!"
"Ah,rika.. don't say that out-loud, it's a bit... Embarrassing-!"
"Hmm, but you like that title right?"
"Mhm."
"Then it shouldn't be a problem! Besides. That boy is asleep still"
"Not for an long time though."
Yuji sat up which made yuta flinch since he wasn't expecting the other boy to wake up right now, rika disappeared.
"Huh..?"
"Thank goodness your okay! I really thought you died for a moment!"
"..how am I.. Alive-?"
"Ah, you see.. I used reverse-curse technique to heal you, the reason I saved you is because... While I was in Africa with gojo-sensei he told me to keep you specifically protected. Your important to the ones I love and care about, and those people who i care about need you, yuji itadori. Especially gojo-sensei, he needs you the most."
"..but-"
Yuji got cut off when he heard megumi voice
"Let's go back to the jujutsu school already."
"I can't, no way. I killed so many innocents lives-! I harmed people i-"
"You think that matters? We're jujutsu sorcerers, no heros, no villains. We're just here to exorcise curses no matter what."
"..but fushiguro.."
"I told you multiple times, we're only sorcerers. Now c'mon."
