Day seven in Jackie's body. It was like I was home now; I didn't feel weird, and I was even getting used to the bigger breasts. My natural body being a B thirty-four, it was a lot for me to get used to when I now had to struggle with Jackie's D thirty-sixes. They get in the way sometimes; they jiggle when you walk and forget about running.
Not only did I gain the breasts, I gained a bum as well. I didn't mind that because I never liked my lack of one. Surprisingly, our waists and feet were the same size. The only other thing I had to get used to was Jackie's hair. Where mine is straight, fine, and to my bum, Jackie's is curly, thick, and mid-way to her back. It is beautiful hair, just hard to tame the curls, especially when you had twin boys bugging the crap out of you.
"Guys, give me ten minutes, and I'll make you some pancakes. Are you sure you want me to make those?"
"Yes," they chimed from somewhere in Jackie's room.
"You monsters better not be getting into my stuff!" I yelled out to them, groaning when I heard giggles. "Did you put your clothes on like I asked you to?"
That had them running out of Jackie's room. I grinned. I would really miss those two little buggers when I got back into my own body.
If I got back into my body. At this point, it was looking pretty bleak.
I finished up and made the boys half-burnt pancakes—by half, I meant only one side burned. Everyone was off to school, including myself. After the debate with myself about going, I decided it wasn't fair for Jackie to flunk out of school. I had almost ruined everything else. I had probably already dropped down the student ranks just from last week.
Neither Cindy nor Leeann greeted me at school, but I wasn't expecting them to. After all, it had been a week since I talked to them. People looked at me weirdly and whispered to each other as I passed through the halls. At Jackie's locker, I checked my face.
This morning, I had taken extra care of my appearance, arranging Jackie's hair to cover the bruised eye and cheek. I had disguised the lip split with some tinted lip gloss. It still looked fine, so why was everyone staring and whispering? Shaking my head, I scolded myself. I was just being paranoid.
In the first period, Cindy and Leeann ignored me. I passed them without even a glance. People watched us, waiting for Jackie's reaction, which didn't come. Instead, I settled in to get to work; I had a lot of catching up to do.
The second period was a repeat of the first. I really wished the Barbie twins weren't in every class with me. I had weeks' worth of academic homework, and having them in the class was distracting, with everyone watching our every move. Hopefully, the boys will cooperate tonight so I can get a head start on the homework.
It was one thing I was holding onto—graduating top third, maybe. Jackie deserved that, at least. At the end of the year, I figured Mason would be first, Jackie second, and Charlotte third because I wouldn't even be ranking top tier while I lie in a hospital bed. I found out on the car ride to the hospital that Charlotte was only three points behind Mason in the ranking, which actually, right now, probably puts me in second and Jackie in third. I groaned. Jackie would flip.
At lunch, I was heading to the library when I saw them. Cindy, Leeann, and Quincy. Quincy was wrapped around Cindy, who was literally glowing with the attention he was lavishing on her. When did that happen? Jackie and Q had just split up on Sunday. A shiver ran through my body at the memory of his hand coming down at me. I clutched my books to my bosom, scurrying to the library before they saw me.
