"What is wrong with them?" Aonung signed to Tsireya and Roxto under the water as they watched Neteyam, Lo'ak, and Tuktirey quickly swim to the surface."Those guys are bad divers." Replied Roxto.
Tsireya angrily signed to them, "Stop. They're learning."
Aonung rolled his eyes as the four of them swam to the surface.
"Are you alright?" Tsireya asked.
"You're too fast, wait for us!" Tuk whined, earning an apologetic smile from Tsireya as she looked at the girl. "Just breathe. Breathe" Tsireya's advice for the newcomers didn't give them much hope.
"You're not good divers," Aonung spoke as he surfaced, "Maybe good at swinging through trees, but..."
Tsireya hit Aonung on the side of his head to make him stop.
Neteyam spoke up, "We don't speak this finger talk, guys. We don't know what you're saying."
Tsireya looked to all three of them, "I will teach you," She noticed all three of their heads turn to where laughter was heard down the beach, "That is Ay'yeiva, my older sister." She swam closer to them as everyone started facing in the direction their father was currently being taught how to ride a Skimwing.
"I apologize that none of you have met her yet, she has been so busy lately with preparations for the ceremony that she rarely has time to do anything else."
Tuk interrupted, "I've met her!" She explained when Tsireya had asked when, her brothers not even knowing that she had met the girl.
Tsireya spoke up again with excitement in her voice as if she just had the greatest idea, "I will try to get Ay'yeiva to help teach you how to breathe!" She turned to Aonung and Roxto, knowing they knew where she was going with the idea.
Aonung laughed, kind of forgetting his dislike to the newcomers when he spoke, "Whenever we would have competitions of who could stay under the longest Ay'yeiva would always win by at least a minute."
Tuk nodded eagerly, the short interaction she had with Ay'yeiva when their mothers were talking not being enough for her new found idol.
Lo'ak smiled. With Ay'yeiva helping them she could focus on his siblings and he could have Tsireya help him more often. Maybe he could get her to teach him other things so he could impress Tsireya.
Neteyam didn't say anything, and his face hadn't changed from when he first heard her laughs. Tsireya saw his expression and smiled softly. She had seen the 'awestruck' look on many boys from their village and Neteyam was no exception to it.
