Inside the Sully marui pod, Lo'ak mentioned something that had been bothering him, "Tsireya always talks about Ay'yeiva or mentions her but we've never actually met her."

Jake was one of the only people really listening to Lo'ak's somewhat-nonsense conversation starter, but voiced his opinion nonetheless, "She'll come around eventually. She has a lot of duties she needs to do, you know." He motioned over to where Neteyam was sitting, "If we were still in the forest who knows, maybe Neteyam would have to start taking more responsibilities like that."

This was when the whole family joined the conversation, Neytiri speaking first, "Yes, as the next leader Ay'yeiva has many jobs she must prepare for before the time comes when she will be leader."

Neteyam and Tuk were the only ones to not speak as Kiri piped in, "She seems nice though, from what I've seen." She started laughing, "Especially when she was teaching dad how to ride a Skimwing!"

Neteyam smiled at the memory, his change in expression not going unnoticed.

"It was really that funny, Neteyam?" Jake held a small smirk on his face that was covered up by his laugh. The eldest child's face fell and he shoved Jake's hand away from grabbing his shoulder.

It was now Tuk's turn to speak, "I really like Ay'yeiva. She makes me feel like I want to be a warrior one day and fight."

Neytiri's heart warmed hearing Tuk's words. She was worried for her youngest daughter wanting to do such a dangerous thing, but even if Tuk was doing the most harmless thing ever she'd also be worried. At least this way it'd be something Tuk had an interest in.

Lo'ak nudged Tuk's arm, "I could ask Tsireya if she could get Ay'yeiva to teach you some things if you'd like."

Tuk nodded excitedly and Jake, who was still teasing Neteyam over his reaction to the girl's name, now brought up Ay'yeiva's sister, "Hey, since when did all my boys decide to branch out when we move away from the forest?"

Lo'ak retaliated, "I could say the same thing about you. You came here from Earth and fell in love with mom."

Jake, for once that night, didn't smile. Neytiri on the other hand couldn't stop laughing, and was joined in her hysterics by the rest of her children.

A few minutes later when everyone went back to what they had previously been doing, Neytiri scooched over to Neteyam's side. She waited a few moments before speaking, "You should talk to her. Try and get to know her."

Neteyam stayed quiet, hoping his silence would stop the topic from starting a conversation - even if it was one sided.

"Ronal told me she doesn't have many friends - or at least ones that understand her position." Her voice was soft, "Being the son of Toruk Makto you would understand the kind of responsibilities she would have to deal with."

He stayed quiet, and Neytiri left him with her words.
