Talons of twilight

Quartz's Backstory

             it was a normal and beutiful day in the seawing kingdom and Quartz was looking of big amethysts and pearls to add to her collection. she came upon all sorts of treasures conch shells corals and a few clams. then Quartz sat down to count all her treasures and open the clams "one, two, three, four, five, eight, six, ten. wow, ten treasures!!!" quartz squealed as she did a flip. "I go home now," quartz said gathering all her treasures in her kept pouch and swimming away.

             she swam for a few minuets and got worried that she was going the wrong was or got lost. she tried another direction but in a few minuets she still found nothing! quartz curled up under a rock arch. what if I never see mommy again? she worried. quartz then stated crying. she cried for a good five minuets then got up.

      the ocean is too big to find home, that means I need to build a new one! quartz thought to herself she glided around the ocean looking for a place to build when she came upon a small but functional island. the island had a little beach and then a meadow that was covered in flowers and grass.

            Quartz started by going to the beach to collect wet sand. she then dove underwater to find some gravel or small pebbles. she came up again and found some dirt she then mixed the ingredients together to make a hard paste (DONT ASK XD). a few hours passed and her house was done. the foundation and flooring was made of palm tree logs the walls were made of stone and the paste (concrete). the roof wa made of palm tree leaves and kelp. it wasn't the best hut but it was functional.

           a few years passed but somehow no one could find her island. so quartz lived there until she decided to find a school to go to. she heard from thoughts that the sanding war was gone and a new queen of the sand wings was named Thorn. she had very powerful mind reading because she was a rainbowing. she also heard the dragonets of destiny had started a school called jade mountain academy it was located on jade mountain. Quartz knew where that was because her mother had taught her the geography of phyrria. she decided to go to school there not knowing what adventures she would go on there.
