It's been a few weeks since Uma tried taking down the barrier. After it didn't work she had ran away and disappeared. He felt as though she had left him on the Isle while she got to leave, but he knew she wouldn't give up and would appear again. That's why he started watching the news daily hoping to see Uma. One day he was at Ursula's fish and chips when the news came on Harry turned up the sound trying to find out what it was about.
" Yesterday one of our most loving, caring and loyal fairies. Tinker Bell, mother of Taylor Bell and leader for the Vk's second chance commission. Was killed by one of the Neverland shadows, it's said that the shadow forced her to swallow poisoned berries after she had made them leave the lost boys campsite in Neverland. She had been found on the floor of her kitchen by Marie, wife of one of the lost boys. Luckily she didn't die right then giving her daughter, Taylor, time to say goodbye before she died. The funeral will be held in Neverland tomorrow we appreciate everyone who will come and pay their respect.
Rest in peace Tink, we will always remember you."The announcer finished as Harry was in shock. When the reporter stopped talking they started showing pictures of Tinker Bell together with her friends and her daughter. Harry started thinking about Taylor, her mother had just died. He hoped she was okay, as he thought more about it he remembered Jack. He knew it would probably crush him, but he had to know. He started making his way down to his father's ship, he was about to go onto the ship when two men pushed him to the side. They were carrying a man, Harry looked closer, then he realized who they were carrying. Jack!
Harry quickly followed them onto the ship and under deck where his father was sitting nervously. " Father, what's going on?" Harry asked looking at the commotion that was going on around them. " Jack had heard the news of Tinker Bell's death. He had said he was fine and asked to leave early. I let him because I thought he needed a break. Someone had found him floating in the water, it looked like he had tried drowning himself." Hook said, glancing over at his mate who was laying beside him.
Jack had drowned himself after hearing that the love of his life had died. Harry wondered how it was possible for someone to love that much. His thought ran over to Taylor. She had just lost her mother and she would soon find out that she has lost her father too. He could tell she loved her parents a lot and they loved her too. She will be absolutely heartbroken, he wanted to be there for her when she found out.
Since her mother just died he suspected that she would visit her father as soon as possible.Later that day he got word from one of his crew members that Taylor as at his father's ship. Harry tried getting there as fast as possible, but when he was able to see the ship clearly he stopped. He could see Taylor at the edge of the ship as Hook and his crew sunk Jack's body into the ocean. Harry looked over at Taylor expecting her to cry but he couldn't see a single tear. She had been taught well by her father as she had told him. She knew nothing good would come from crying on the Isle, it just shows weakness. Which is something you can't have here.
Harry kept watching from afar as Taylor left the ship and started walking back to her place. She was so in her own world that she didn't notice Harry sneaking behind her into her home. He hid himself behind some curtains. It didn't take long before she broke down.
Taylor's pov
He's dead, he drowned himself after hearing about your mother. Hook had told her when she arrived. She had been too stunned to speak. He was the only family she had left and now she had no one. She knew he loved her mother deeply, but she thought he would stay for her. Her father had taught her never to cry in the presence of others, but as soon as she had come behind closed doors, she began baling her eyes out.
She just cried and cried and cried. As she cried she took out her knife from her pocket. The knife her father had given her for her tenth birthday. She kept looking at it as she held it upside down, her hand touching the cold and sharp blade. She was still crying as she held tighter and tighter around the sharp edge cutting into her skin as she cried. Her hand began bleeding as she held it tighter and tighter. Suddenly out of nowhere someone took her hand and ripped the knife out of Taylor's hand. She looked up to find Harry Hook standing above her with her knife.
" Oh Taylor." Harry said taking her hand and looking at her with an apologetic expression. Taylor didn't say anything, her vision was blurry from all the tears and now that the knife was out of her hand, the pain started running through her body. She started feeling dizzy, her eyes began closing as the last thing she remembers was leaning to the side and falling.
Harry's pov
Harry quickly caught Taylor as she began falling. Looking at her hand she picked her up bridal style to the bathroom to get the wound clean. After putting bandages on her hand he carried her over to her bed and placed her down. Wrapping her in with blankets, he walked over to the drawer where he placed down her knife. He wanted to stop her from hurting herself, but he knew that taking away her most prized possession wouldn't help her. He walked back over taking her hair out of her face. Right then he couldn't see anything that reminded him of the Taylor he new, the fearless, brilliant, courageous girl that always new new what to do, and never showed signs of weakness.
He was about to leave when she grabbed his hand half asleep as she pulled it closer to her chest. Harry took the chair that was placed on the side of the bed and let her hold his hand as they both fell asleep.
The next morning her woke up, looking around he started remembering what happened last night. His eyes fixed on Taylor as she slept peacefully, her beautiful blonde hair covering most of her face. Her red lips and her long lashes mesmerized Harry as he just sat there looking at her. He looked around stopping when he looked at the picture with her and Peter Pan's son. He knew he couldn't have her and never would, it would be best if she forgot about him, but he also knew she never would. Therefore he decided that he was going to make her want to get him away.
Harry started taking every single jewel he could find putting in his pocket. All the money he found, he took leaving nothing behind. Except the knife, she wouldn't want him away if he took it, she would want to murder him by hand. He took one final look at the girl he had tried finding again as he walked out and closed the door. Both to her house, but also to their time, and most of all the door to his heart.
Walking out on the streets of the Isle he felt something coming from his eyes. Feeling what it was with his hand, it's water, no, it's tears.Taylor's pov
Waking up in her bed Taylor tried remembering what had happened, as she started remembering her father's suicide, her coming back as she cried the second the door closed. How she had started hurting herself with the knife, and how Harry Hook had taken it and helped her clean the cut. Looking around she couldn't find him, but she looked closer she noticed something was wrong.
Going over to her dresser she noticed that none of her jewelry was there, checking the box, all the money she kept here was gone to. She had trusted him when he just suddenly stopped her. Letting him help her and putting her to bed, helping her sleep. Now she realized he only did it so he could steal all her stuff when she finally slept. Her whole body filled with rage at the pirate he mind couldn't stop thinking about. But she didn't rush out to find him and get her things back. She just started crying, her mother was dead, her father was dead and when she really needed someone. The person who helped her was just using her for her money.
Her eyes fell on her knife, thankfully he didn't take it, but he honestly just probably forgot where he had put it and didn't want to get caught so he just left without it. Luckily she was wearing the necklace with the key and her favorite necklace was still in Neverland because she didn't want to take it with you right now. Without the jewels and without him the place seemed empty. But now that her father was dead she didn't have a reason to stay, so she packed most of her stuff and left the Isle behind. She was to never go there again, especially since she now had to take care of Neverland as Peter Pan left that job to your mother and it was now your responsibility.
Authors note: I know this is probably not the best written chapter, but I've started school this week so I've just been super busy. I'm probably only going to have time to make one chapter a week but I hope you all love it. See you in a week. ❤️
