You stared at the giant chandelier that hung in the middle of the mansion. You always wondered how it got up there. It obviously wasn't Velvet or Veneer because,hell they don't do shit like that, ESPECIALLY Velvet.

You were interrupted from your daydreaming by the daily tantrum from Velvet. Lord knows what she's complaining about now. You shuddered at the memory of her holding Crimp by her bun and saying if she didn't do something she would 'snip snip' and boy you didn't want to know what she meant by that.

You sighed and took your morning coffee into the living room where Velvet and Veneer were. You sat next to Veneer on the couch and he smiled at you. "Morning princess" he said, hugging you. You smiled and leaning into his touch. "Morning" you looked at Velvet. "What's the problem now?" You asked Veneer, sipping your coffee. "Ugh,she ran out of her favorite coffee and so she decided yelling at Cringe would be best" he said with a snort. You giggled. Then Veneer's pet monkey ran into the room. "Oh my god Glitter!! Get back in your cage!" He said trying to catch her.

Velvet must have finally gotten over the coffee situation and walked in. She put her hands on her hips. "Seriously Veneer? Glitter ass escaped her cage again?" She said, staring daggers at the Monkey. "Velvet! Don't call her that!" He said, frowning. Velvet just smirked and sat next to you.

"Well as long as that disease doesn't get in my shit,we won't have problems" Velvet said, flipping her hair sassily. Veneer groaned and put his monkey back in her cage. You did wonder how he even got a monkey in the first place.

"Morning boo" she said. That was a little nickname she decided to call you,and every time she said it,it would make you blush."Morning Vel's" you said with a smile. Velvet looked at her nails.

"I so need some nail polish,VENEER! You got any not gay nail polish?" She asked. "Velvet! It's not gay! And yes I do have some!" He said, pouting. Velvet just barged into his room,not asking. Veneer rolled his eyes and sat back down next to you.

"Hey Ven, how'd you get a monkey in the first place?" You asked curiously. "Vel's got her for me for my birthday" he said, smiling. Aw how cute. You thought. Velvet screamed and you and Veneer immediately jumped up and ran into Veneer's room. "Sis!!??" He yelled as he got in his room. But he immediately calmed down when he noticed Glitter escaped again. "VENEER YOUR FUCKING MONKEY ESCAPED AGAIN! IF SHE KEEPS DOING IT, WE'RE GONNA FIND OUT WHAT MONKEY STEW TASTES LIKE!!" she said. Veneer frowned.

After the monkey escaping incident,you,Velvet and Veneer were back into the living room. Veneer looked sad after what Velvet said. You looked at Velvet and scowled at her. "What?" She said, seeming like she didn't realize that what she said hurt Veneer. "Um, apologize to Veneer" you said. She scoffed "hell no" "apologize,now" you said in a stern tone. Her eyes went wide. "Why should I apologize to him? His monkey scared the ever loving shit out of me" she said, looking at her nails. "Velvet now!" You yelled. Her eyes went wide again. You left no room for arguing so she groand and stood up and went to he4 brothers room to apologize.

When she went to Veneer's room,you had a smile. Now not many people make her do things, especially due to her stubborn attitude and all her sass,but you couldn't believe she actually listened to you.

Later that night,you went into your room and decided to lay on your bed.You sighed and stared up at the ceiling of your spacious bedroom. You wondered what it would be like just to disappear. You felt as if something was consuming you. And something was. You have been wanting to ask Veneer about the kiss. You wanted to ask him if he truly had feelings for you,but you were scared that if you asked,that was the end.

You sat up and stared off at the balcony,where you stood every night,to stare at the stars. You stood up and walked over to the balcony and opened the glass door and felt the nighttime breeze hit your form, causing a shiver go down your spine. You smiled and leaned against the railing. You closed your eyes, breathing in the letting out a deep breath and smiled.

You then jumped by hands wrapping around your waist and someone hugging you from behind. You relaxed as you knew it was Veneer. He let go and walked next to you. You smiled. "Hey,you doing okay after earlier?" You asked him with a smile. He smiled at you. "Yeah, I'm actually very surprised that you got Velvet to apologize" he said with wide eyes. You chuckled and stared off at the sky. Veneer tilted his head. "Something wrong sweets?" he asked, putting his hands on the railing.

You tensed up. You want to ask him about the kiss.but you felt like it would be terrible to ask. Fear rose in you at the thought. You looked at him. "Oh uh, nothing is wrong!" You said, forcing a smile. He didn't look convinced. He knew something was wrong.

"Y/n, there's something on your mind" he said. You felt your hands become sweaty against the railing. You could hear your heart pounding in your ears. You felt your throat go dry as you tried to speak. "Ven I'm fine really" he put his hands on your shoulders, looking into your eyes. "Y/n,you know you can tell me anything, right?" You took his hands off your shoulders. "Yes" "then tell me what's on that pretty little mind of yours"

You felt tears run in your eyes. "Oh y/n,why are you crying?" He said, putting a hand on your cheek. "D-do you promise you won't be mad if I tell you?...." You asked. "I would never be,and at you" he said, smiling softly. You took a deep breath, closing your eyes tight and said it "I have feelings for you"
