Damian's Point Of View

"So..have you told her?" Kayden asks, sitting on my couch. "Told who, what?" I ask. "Dude, I know you aren't dumb. Come on, did you tell Rhea you love her yet, or are you still going to hide? Dominik isn't in the way now," She says. "I know he isn't but she sees me as her big brother, she's not going to ever see me anything other than that," I say, sitting down in the chair closer to the door. Demi should be on her way here soon with Raquel and the pups. They got her stuff out of Dom's house this morning and the pups. Liv was there but Raquel got Rhea to pay her no mind and also watched her back making sure no one tried to do anything stupid. Kayden stayed here to stop me from killing Dom if he did anything. "You won't ever know til you tell her. But, I'll drop it for now. She'll be here soon and I know damn well you have her favorite chocolate chip cookies in that oven," Kayden says, smirking at me. She's not wrong. Demi loves my chocolate chip cookies. I figured it's at least something nice to help cheer her up even if for a little bit.

I look over to see Kayden smirking. "What?" I ask. "Oh nothing. You are such a Papi for her. Not a papacito ladies man, a new girl every night. This is like husband material. 'My wife has her monthly. I must go to the store and buy all the chocolate and make her a special meal' type of man. I love to see it," She says. "No, I just think she needs to be treated better than Dom. I can't believe he hurt her like that. We trusted him. And he backstabbed us all and then don't get me going on Finn. I don't know what got into him. I followed the gimmick and so did Rhea. If he felt like he was getting fucked over he should've said something," I say, putting the cookies on a plate and putting it on the kitchen island. I hear her truck pull up and run to the door to let the puppies in. It's a fifteen minutes drive but, I don't think they want to wait outside, it's 95 degrees out, that is too hot for Doggy paws.

Demi pulls her truck into the driveway with Raquel and the pups, along with all her stuff in the bed of the truck. I go to the car and carry the pups in, one by one. "It's too hot for your little paws to be touching the pavement right now," I say as I put them in the house. I walk back out to the truck and Rhea is already grabbing her luggage. "What else needs to be brought in?" I ask. " Just the rest of the boxes. So 4 boxes. The rest I was able to cram into all of these," She says, pointing to the luggage bag in her hands. "Ok, you get in and I will bring these in. There are warm cookies on the island too," I say. "Chocolate chip?" She asks, her eyes lighting up. "Of course, why would I make anything else?" I ask. "I didn't know if you were trying a new recipe," She says.

Rhea's Point Of View

I put the luggage down near the door and go grab one of the cookies because right now I fucking earned it. I didn't say anything to Liv and Dom even though she was practically trying to fuck him in front of me. I'd have to be upset to react at this point. Was I hurt, yeah, for five seconds. But what actually upsets me the most was that he wasn't man enough to just tell me himself that he wasn't happy. I wasn't dominant at home, that was only my gimmick. I don't know what I did wrong, and maybe I should've loved him better, but now is not the time to beat myself up over it. It's over with. Let's face it. I wasn't happy either, but I thought it was a rough patch because of my shoulder injury. I thought it would get better. It didn't and that's ok. I enjoy the cookie and just as I'm about to go back out, Luis is walking in with the rest of my stuff. "I was coming back out to help," I say. "No need, try to relax a little. It's been stressful for you. I know you can handle stress, but that doesn't mean you should have to," He says, putting the rest of the boxes next to my luggage. I walk over and give him a hug. "Thank you. Seriously, I don't know what I would do without you," I say. "Don't even mention it. You're my best friend. Now, let me show you the rest of the house. I realize we normally didn't hang out here because Dom thought his house was cooler," He says, chuckling and shaking his head.
