3RD PERSON POV -
Kamishiro-senpai! The blue haired boy rushing to his friend while it's freezing cold in the state of Alaska. He was wearing a thin long sleeved shirt in black and black jeans, Rui; his boyfriend, noticed immediately and calmed him down, he looked very cold...
"Oh Toya... here." Rui took off his sweater and put it on his friend, "There you go, now you can stay warm!" He smiled, "Aren't you cold though?" He worriedly asks, "Don't worry about me! I have thick skin- ACHOO!" Yep... that was coming.
BACK IN THE CABIN -
Toya made some hot chocolate for Rui to ease the pain from the cold, this basically was the first time that happened since they never went to the states, especially Alaska, they only came because their parents wanted to come here to enjoy the trip, surprisingly, Toya's dad did wanna come for some reason.
Anyways, back to the couple...
"Ok, I'm sorry Rui... I'll bring a sweater next time, although... this is really comfortable!" Toya said as he was still warming up to the sweater, "Fufu! It looks a lot better on you than it does on me." Rui giggled, it made Toya smile that as long as he's happy, then Toya's also happy.
Unfortunately for Toya, that happiness wouldn't last long...
SCHOOL YEAR -
The second year of Kamiyama for Toya has officially came, he wasn't excited or nervous since he's used to the presence and just studies most of the time.
He was excited to see his 2 best senpais, especially Rui, he's had a big crush on Rui ever since like maybe forever? But that excitement would turn into disappointment.
Toya finally saw Rui and Tsukasa talking, but about what? What was going on to be exact? As Toya was about to walk up, a girl jumped and hugged Rui, and then Rui turned around to kiss her...
'What was going on?' He thought
He walked up to them and gave his greetings.
"Tsukasa-senpai! Kamishiro-senpai!" Toya called to them, "TOYAAAAAAAA! WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME YOU WENT ON A VACATION?!" Tsukasa screamed where the whole hallway could hear, "Tsukasa... I tbink you're being really loud right now..." Toya said as he was a bit embarrassed, "Sorry... anyways! Hahaha Rui, do you have anything to say?" "Actually yes! Toya, I forgot to tell you but this is my girlfriend!" Rui introduced, "Hi! I'm Miyawaki Heather! Nice to meet you" she waved, she looked really pretty, she had a nice well done uniform with a perfect dark brunette braid and a beauty mark on right cheek, she really was the one for her.
Toya felt really down, he had a huge crush on Rui and now his heart is crushed, but he seems so happy... why did it have to be with her though? But he had to fake it, for Rui.
"Nice to meet you too!" Toya greeted and bowed, pretty sure she's his senpai since she looks a bit older.
"Anyways! I'm gonna head off." Toya said to avoid Rui with his girlfriend, "Oh? Aoyagi-kun? Are you sure, were just gonna take a walk before class starts-" Rui said but got cut off by the short one(shorter than Rui, he's still taller than Tsukasa 💀) "Oh no, it's fine, I have to um... study...! Yeah..."
He walked off before he could hear the taller talk, he was too upset about the fact that he had already found someone, someone that's not him.
Toya immediately went to the rooftop, not many people hang out up there so it's usually peaceful, somewhere where Toya could let out the tears that were about to come out of his eyes.
He sat down against a fence, he wanted someone to ask if he was ok and comfort him, but who would even find him at the moment? Toya put his head down his knees so no one could see him like this, Well one person did kinda did and she checked up on him.
"Uh... Aoyagi-kun?" A soft voice questioned, sound familiar too... he lifted his head up to see Nene.
"Oh! Kusanagi! Um..." Toya noticed her as he wiped his tears, probably too late now since she already noticed...
"Um... are you crying?" She asked, "Oh... no! Why would I.. hehe." He lied while she knew damn well that he did.
"You don't have to lie... um... I'm not good at comforting but would you like to talk about it?" She asked awkwardly, deep down, she wants to help Toya feel better, even though she's not the best at comforting, she still cares and Toya knows that and trusts her to keep her mouth shut.
"*sigh* I can trust you... I have... feelings... for Rui." He said to her, she didn't seem surprised since they've hung out a lot more than expected, "Isn't he dating that new transfer student? Heather is it?" She asked since Heather is the new student and not many people know her too well but she seems pretty and might have a chance of popularity.
"Y-Yeah... it's just complicated now because I really like him but I doubt he likes me back since he seems happy with her." He let out a tear and wiped it as he felt it, he hated this feeling but can't let it go.
He looked at Nene and asked her a question.
"Nene... can I hug you? Sorry... you don't have to say yes but I just want comfort." Nene was caught off guard by the question, she blushed out of awkwardness but decided to do it anyway, she nodded and let him hug her.
She felt the tears on her but at this point, it's too late to say no. Not the first time she's been hugged by people since Emu hugs her all the time, but with Toya... it's kinda new, even though they're friends, it's feels funny.
"It's okay Aoyagi."
