This is the first draft for my "story" if you're following me you've probably seen my posts about "planning to make a story" so here's my first draft, I don't know what to make of it anymore, I'm planning to change it anyways so I hope you have fun reading!

Also I think I'll change the whole plot too, I don't have a title yet and it's making me frustrated (i should have started with titles first)

Lastly if you know thai dramas, this story is based on that. I'll tell the original plot in the next chapter. Anyways here's the draft ^^

Shadow of the past

I stirred from my sleep, the soft beams of sunlight filtered through my bedroom window. I stretched lazily, trying to remember the dream I was dreaming a second ago. As I tried to slide out of bed, my feet touched the cold floor, making me shiver. A smile played on my lips as I heard a faint sound of laughter from downstairs kitchen.

I yawned, “What could they be laughing about so early in the morning?”

Walking down the stairs, my heart lightened at the sight before me. My Dad and Minho, my brother, faces alight with joy, were bustling about in the kitchen. The delicious aroma of pancakes filled the air.

I walked up to them, “well something smells good” I took a seat beside my brother.

"Morning, sleepyhead!" Dad called out, flipping a pancake with a flourish. "You ready for our big trip today?"

I grinned, Minho chiming in, "Yeah, Lyra! We're going to have so much fun!"

I joined them, grabbing a plate and a pancake. "I'm ready! Do you need any help with the packing?"

Before Dad could respond, Mom breezed into the kitchen, her presence like a warm embrace. "Looks like everyone's up and at 'em! What’s the plan, team?"

Dad responded with a mock-serious tone, "Captain Mom, we are ready to embark on our grand adventure!"

Mom chuckled, ruffling my hair. "Alright, troops, let’s make this day unforgettable."

"Hey, Lyra," Minho teased, "don't forget your pillow this time. We don't want you drooling on the car seats again."

I rolled my eyes, swatting playfully at Minho. "That was one time, Minho! One time!"

Minho smirked, grabbing another pancake. "Sure, sure. Just like how you said you wouldn't sing in the shower anymore."

"Hey, I have a great voice!" I retorted, laughing.

"Yeah, for a dying cat," Minho quipped, dodging a playful punch from me.

After breakfast, I retreated to my bedroom to get ready. As I finished my delightful shower, I walked out of the bathroom and noticed my lamp flickering. The light twisted and changed shapes, casting eerie shadows on the walls. I shook my head, laughing softly at my imagination running wild, and headed back downstairs.

We piled into the car, the air buzzing with excitement. Jokes and playful banter filled the car as we drove to our destination.

"Alright, who wants to play 'I Spy'?" Dad asked, his eyes twinkling with mischief.

"I spy something... green!" Minho announced, looking and pointed at my neon-green backpack.

"Dad's old tie!" I guessed, grinning.

Dad groaned. "Hey, that tie is a classic!"

"More like ancient," Mom teased from the front seat.

I laughed, enjoying the playful banter. "Okay, my turn! I spy something... funny!"
