The rays of sunlight entered her room through the empty space between the curtains.
"Good morning" is what she was supposed to say but unfortunately, she has been awake all night.. Just the her phone started ringing, she stretched her arms to the nightstand to pick up the phone.
"Hello, Lily.." she said after picking.
"Hey are you coming today..!?" A person spoke from the other side of the mobile..
"Not today, I got the morning shift.."
"Uh..you sound tired did you sleep well..!?" Lily asked.
"I didn't sleep, I was busy on assignment" Haley replied yawning..
"Okay then, see ya..take care and eat breakfast and make sure you get eno--"
"Okay mum, bye..!!" Haley cut her.
Haley turned off the phone and smiled lightly. She knows Lily always checks on her as she knows Haley doesn't have anyone...
