The golden rays of setting sun bathed the small garden in a warm glow as little yn played on the ground, her tiny hands busy arranging colourful pebbles in

circle. Her laughter filled the air , blending harmoniously with the chirping of birds returning to their nests. The soft rustling of leaves swayed in rhythm with the cool evening breeze.

Suddenly, her delicate ears caught the sound of footsteps approaching.At first , she paid no attention no mind , her focus still on her game.But as the sound grew closer, her curiosity piqued, and she turned her head slightly.Her big eyes scanned the pathway, and the movement she recognised who it was , a spark of joy lit up in her face .

"Uncle kim!"she squealed,her voice echoing with pure delight.She jumped to her feet and dashed towards him with her little legs, her small shoes kicking up bits of dirt as she run.

Mr . Kim , a kind- hearted man with a warm smile and gentle demeanor , bent down just in time catch yn as she flung herself into his arms.She hugged him tightly her soft chubby arma wrapping around his neck.

"Uncle kim, did you bring chocolate for me ? " She said looking at him with her innocent puppy eyes .Her expression was irresponsible,her lips forming q small pout that could even melt the toughest heart.

Chuckling, Mr Kim reached into his pocket and pulled out a shiny , wrapped bar of chocolate."yes dear.how could I ever forget?" He said , handling it to her

Yn's face lit up like a thousand stars as she grabbed the chocolate with both hands."you are the best she exclaimed giggles trailing behind her as she ran off to her little corner to savor the treat
As she disappeared itno the garden, her mother walked out of the kitchen wiping her hand on her apron.She glanced at the scene with a mix of amusement and mild exasperation "you are spoiling her you know" she said shaking her head but smiling nonetheless.
Mr Kim laughed rubbing the back of his neck.What can I say ? Those puppy eyes are to hard to resist

Yn's mother signed watching yn gleefully unwrap her chocolate in the distance

The two adults shared a warm smile as the evening breeze carried the sound of yn's joyful hums through the air

I come to see my bestfriend but I think he is not here Mr Kim continued "l should have guessed. He does not care about anything but his work.yn's mom exclaimed with frustration nothing seems important to him just his work is most important for him

Still I wanted to see him because I am going abroad for some business purpose I will come after few month's

He would have wanted to see you if he knew she said sincerely with her voice filled with little sadness "if he knew "

I should go know or I will miss my flight safe travel yn's mom exclaimed softly looking at him

Thanks Mr Kim replied, his eyes lingering on her brief moment, concern flickering across his face .

The hours trickled by the stillness of the night seeping into the walls .

The quiet of the night was shattered when the front door cracked open , and yn's father stumbled inside slamming it shut behind him . His breathing was ragged,his face pale and drenched in sweat, yn's mom who had been sitting on the couch stood

What happened? she asked

He didn't replied immediately his eyes darting around the room as searching for unseen threats " we need to paco some clothes quickly we have to leave he said his tone urgent almost desperate

Why? What happened?she pressed moving closer to him her concern growing with each passing second.

I'll explain later, he began but before he could finish w loud angry knock echoed through the house.It reverberated through the walls

The knocking quickly escalated into furious bang and muffled voices outside yelled "open the door you bastard!

Yn's father grabbed her by her shoulders , his grip firm but trembling" we need to go now they are behind us "

Her face turned pale as fear settled turned pale as fear settled in ' But ... what's happening? Who are they ? She asked her voice cracking.

We don't have time he hissed they will kill us if they get in . I will hold them off , but you need to run take yn and go somewhere safe

Tears well up in her eyes as she clutched his arms ' ai can't leave you behind ' she whispered her voice breaking" please come with us .

He stopped for a moment his eyes meeting hers there was love in his gaze but also determination "I can't"if I don't stay they'll find you this is the only way to keep you and yn safe

The banging grew louder the door frame rattling under the force of the blows "open up! the voices outside roared.

Yn's mom sobbed her heart shattering ' I don't want to leave you " she cried clinging to him as through letting go could mean loosing forever

He gently pried her hands off him , his own trembling as he wiped her tears away 'you have to for yn promise me you will keep her safe '

Yn's mom raced up the stairs her heart pounding like a drum

The man entered inside the house while cracking the door which created a loud sound now how will you save yourself,Choi ? One of the intruders sneered,his voice dripping with mockery.

Please leave us ! Mr .Choi begged his voice trembling with desperation

The leader of the group a tall man with cold eyes and a sinister smirk stepped forward he spun a gleaming knife in his hand, the blade catching dim light of the room "leave you ?" He said with a chuckle his voice smooth yet filled with venom "Choi you should be given an award for what you were planning to do ".

He leaned closer,his smirk widening as he saw fear etched Mr.Choi's face " you thought of getting against us "

There is no forgiveness in our world Choi without a hesitation he drove the knife into Mr. Choi's stomach

A sharp gasp escaped from Mr Choi's lips as the pain rediated through his body. Blood seeped through the wound staining his shirt as the knife
twisted cruelly .

Upstairs yn's mom covered her mouth suppressing a scream as she heard her husband's pained crying tears stream down her face as she clutches yn tightly , shielding her away from the horror below

"Clean this up " the leader ordered his men , standing and wiping the blood
from his knife with a handkerchief seach the house I want no loose end's.

The men scattered their heavy boots stomping through the house yn's mom knew she only have few seconds to act."Her only motive was to save yn"
