His Darling

Chapter 3

Sylus slowly starts to open his eyes, waking up from his sleep.

He blinks a few times, getting used to the soft daylight coming through the blinds. He stretches his arms and yawns, feeling contentment washing over him as he looks down and sees you sleeping beside him. He wraps an arm around your waist, pulling your body closer to his, ensuring you are safe and close. A smile tugs at the corners of his lips as he gently caresses your hair, watching you sleep.

You shift, feeling his embrace and his caressing.

Sylus notices your movements and watches you carefully.

"Morning, darling..."

He speaks quietly, keeping his voice soft and calm. He continues playing with your hair, gently caressing your cheek with his thumb.

You slowly open your eyes, then smile, since he is the first thing you see as soon as your eyes open. "You're awake? Good morning..."

He smiles back at you, watching as you slowly wake up.

"I have been for a little while, just watching you sleep.."

Sylus's hand gently caresses your cheek, feeling your soft skin beneath his touch.

"So, any plans for today?" you ask. It's been six months since the wedding, and he has worked from home, saying that he doesn't want you to be alone in the house.

Sylus let out a slight huff at your question.

"Plans? Today will be all about you and me. No going out, no seeing anybody else. You're going to spend the day with me, and you're not leaving the house."

"Oh, we're not going out?"

Slyus shakes his head, his expression firm.

"Nope, we're staying home. I'm not letting you out of my sight today. You're all mine, and I'm not letting you go anywhere. So, we're spending the whole day indoors."

You raise your eyebrows, questioning him, but "Hmm, okay then" you agree with him.

Sylus smirks, enjoying your agreement. He pulls you even closer to him, his body against yours and his arms wrapping around you tightly.

"Good. I don't want you to even think about leaving the house today. You're all mine and I intend to keep you under my watchful eye at all times."

"Oh, but we need to go to the hospital though..." you say, looking into his eyes.

Sylus looks surprised, he sits up so fast and looks down at you. His expression becomes slightly concerned.

"Why? Are you not feeling well? Do you need anything? I'll take you there immediately..."

You chuckle at his sudden action. "Did you forget?" you say, as you look down at your stomach.

Sylus's gaze lowers to your stomach, realization slowly dawning on him.

"Oh..."

Sylus pauses for a moment, a look of surprise on his face. After a moment, a small smile appeared on his lips as he looked back at you.

"Yes, we do need to go to the hospital. But I'm coming with you, there's no way I'm letting you go by yourself."

"Of course, we're going together.." you smile.

Sylus smiles back at you, his expression turning soft.

"Good. I want to be there with you every step of the way, I want to know everything about our little one."

Sylus gently caresses your stomach, his hand moving in slow and gentle circles.

You smile again, "Our little one.."
