Synopsis:
People say Bailey Rosanna Cromwell is a human embodiment of joy itself. She makes people smile and makes their day. She's selfless, helpful, and kind-hearted in so many different ways. But there is one thing she only knows. She's slowly breaking on the inside. From her two-faced abusive father that no one knows about, not even her older brother, to her mother who's in a coma because of cancer.
During her agonizing time in highschool, one thing kept her intact. It was none other than the hockey captain Asher Everett Winter. Son of NHL legend Bruce Winters. She was a broken vase and he was her glue. He was her best friend, her boyfriend, and a person she loved with all her heart. Key word: Loved. Past Tense
Her relationship comes crashing down after one big argument and her being ghosted. Her relationship ended with only one breakup voicemail, her finding out he changed his number, and that he moved out. That was her past.
Now she's studying in University of Denver under the major, Health and Medical Administrative under a full-ride scholarship. She created a new life. She has new friends/roommates who adore her, a Pomeranian who is like her child, and a job to earn money for her mom's treatment.
What happens when Asher transfer to University of Denver as Bailey's brother's best friend? Will they be able to rekindle their friendship and develop something more? Or will their relationship erupt in flames because of secrets?
That was the synopsis of the story. What do you think? Broken Hearts & Ice is a sports romance and hockey romance. One of it's main troupes is second chance after four years. Another troupe is brother's best friend. So the troupes are all over the place.

My characters like any other Homo Sapiens have emotions and feelings. They will make mistakes and stupid decisions. So if you have nothing good to say about them don't say anything.
