Chapter 1

Darren's POV

"Your phone linging, your phone linging...". I woke up to my phone ringing vigorously. With a heavy sigh, I picked up the phone.

" WHERE TF ARE YOU?! IT'S 9:45AM FOR CRYING OUT LOUD ". The voice brought me back to reality. I'm gonna be late on my first day of school.

" Shit! I forgot, I'll be there soon, somehow ". I ended the call and I rose to my feet and rushed to get dressed for prison.

Before I continue, let me introduce myself. My name is Darren Liang and I'm 17 in my last year of school. I hate Rockbridge School so much that I wanna just throw up when hearing that.

All my life I have been known as the ugly weird kid just for what? BEING QUIET!! THEY HATE QUIET KIDS SO MUCH.

Author's POV

Darren arrived at school by 10:15am resulting to his ultimate detention. During lunch he met his one and only friend Ben.

" Ben, my buddy. I'm so sorry for being late". He approached Ben and gave him a tight hug whilst Ben kept sulking.

"So that means you got detention? " with a disappointed look, he sighed.

"Yep". Darren sighed as he took a seat, taking out apple juice from his bag and sipped it. " Refreshing " he got up as Ben gestures for him to grab his lunch.

Ben's pov
I chuckled to myself but suddenly got interrupted as a guy tapped my shoulder. "Oh, Ty...".

" Uhm... I came to tell you that we are partners for the Biology project". He told me nervously. Ty is a very popular guy for his attractive looks and his smartness, whereas I'm popular for being useless in studies.

"Oh okay I guess". I went back to sipping my drink without minding his presence.

" Uhm.. where should we meet? "

"Anywhere, I don't really care".

" My house? "

"Sure, on Saturday by 2pm ". I knew his house cause we literally live on the same street. He nodded and left. I got a secret to tell... He's my crush.
