Matheesha's POV

As I stepped off the plane in Chennai, I couldn't help but feel a mix of emotions. Excitement for the new chapter in my cricketing career, but also nervousness about being in a new city, away from family and friends.

Ashwin bro : "Hey, Matheesha! Welcome to CSK," Ravichandran Ashwin said, extending a warm hand as I boarded the team bus.

"Thanks, Ashwin bro. Great to be here," I replied, trying to sound calm.

MS Dhoni, the captain, greeted me with a nod. "Matheesha, welcome aboard. We're glad to have you on the team."

I took a seat next to Ashwin bro , trying to take in everything at once. The bus was filled with chatter and laughter, but I felt a bit out of place.

As the bus drove through the city, I couldn't help but notice the vibrant streets, filled with people and color. I felt a sense of excitement, wondering what this new city had in store for me.

As I walked into the CSK dressing room, I couldn't help but feel a sense of awe. The room was filled with some of the greatest cricketers I had ever admired. MS Dhoni, Ravichandran Ashwin, Dwayne Bravo - the list went on.

"Hey, Matheesha! Welcome to the team," Jadeja said, with a warm smile. "We've heard great things about your bowling skills."

"Thanks, Jadu bro," I replied, trying to play it cool. "I'm excited to learn from all of you."

Bravo, who was sitting next to Ashwin bro, nodded in agreement. "Yeah, baby goat, we're gonna make you a part of the CSK family."

Dhoni bhai, who was observing the conversation, chimed in. "Matheesha, we're glad to have you on board. We're looking forward to seeing what you can bring to the team."

I felt a surge of gratitude towards Dhoni bhai. "Thanks, Mahi bhai. I won't let you down."

As we began to discuss strategies and game plans, I realized that I was exactly where I was meant to be. This was my dream team, and I was ready to give it my all.

Ashwin bro: "So, Matheesha, tell us about your bowling style. What makes you unique?"

Me: "Well, Ashwin bro , I've always been fascinated by variations. I've worked hard to develop my slower balls and cutters."

Bravo : "That's great, baby goat! We need someone who can keep the batsmen guessing."

Dhoni bhai: "Matheesha, we're looking for someone who can bowl in the death overs. Can you handle that pressure?"

Me: "Mahi bhai, I'm ready for the challenge. I've bowled in pressure situations before, and I'm confident I can deliver."

Ashwin bro: "That's the spirit, Matheesha! We're looking forward to seeing you in action."

As the days went by, I settled into the CSK routine. The team was like a well-oiled machine, and I was eager to find my place in it. Dhoni bhai's leadership was inspiring, and Ashwin bro guidance was invaluable.

On evening, after a grueling practice session, Bravo approached me with a mischievous grin. "Hey, Matheesha, want to join us for a team dinner?"

I nodded enthusiastically, and soon found myself surrounded by the CSK team at a cozy restaurant in Chennai.

Bravo: "Matheesha, tell us about your favorite cricketing memory."

Me: "That's a tough one, champion. But I think it was when I took 5 wickets in a school match and helped my team win the championship."
