"I would have assumed you've already grown tired of this song and dance, Detective?"

I tried my best not to react as I heard the woman's voice when I entered the interrogation room. She had her arms crossed across her chest and a playful look glittering in her eyes. She was wearing a dark navy blue top with a white pantsuit that probably cost more than my salary twice over.

"Quite the opposite in fact, but if you yourself are; please feel free to confess and we can get you a nice warm cell" I retorted as I threw a folder on the table glaring at her.

"And have all this fun end? Perish the thought. I'd miss our verbal quips too much" she replied with a smirk on her lips. I felt my own lip twitch in frustration.

"So what are the charges this time my dear detective? I'm quite curious why I seem to be in this room quite often now? If you wanted to spend time with me all you needed to do was ask." She placed her elbows on the table and rested her chin on her hands as she tilted her head. I turned away in irritation and tried to hide a small blush.

'Damn this woman' I thought as I hear her chuckle from across the table. She's nothing but a criminal and yet I can't help but be affected by her incessant flirting.

"Aww are you shy, Detective? I can see those cute red ears there. I wonder just how red they can get?" She said her voice lowering seductively. I couldn't help and look at her in a glare trying not to blush even more at the innuendo.

"Are you quite finished, Ms. Chankimha?" I retorted trying to keep my tone even and unaffected, a giggle from across the table indicated I was unsuccessful.

"Not really no, but I'll let it go for now. Shall we get on to business then, Detective, what is it exactly you think I did... this time?" She finished as she looked at her nails looking bored.

"Three counts of accessory to Assault and 2 counts of accessory to robbery" I explained while opening the folder showing photos of the victims that were taken at the hospital. She took a quick glance at them and interlocked her finger in-front of her on the table.

"My they look pretty beat up. I hope they're okay?" she said with a slight smirk and I felt my eye twitch at her subtle sarcastic tone.

"Drop the act, Ms. Chankimha, we have witnesses that say you're involved." I replied my tone a bit sharp and she let out a chuckle.

"Detective, I don't know exactly what your "witnesses" have seen exactly, but I can tell you that I haven't even been here in the city for the past week, I just got back today when you decided to be such a gentleman and pick me up right as I landed. Also do I really look like the type of person that can do that to a grown man twice my size? And robbery? I don't know about you but I'm not really strapped for cash at the moment." She raised an eyebrow with a grin.

"Hence accessory, Ms. Chankimha, you may not have been there physically but sources have indicated that you ordered the assault to happen." I said as I crossed my arms in-front of my chest in retort.

"Oh come on, Detective, even if I had that ability, what would I even have to gain by giving such an order?" She asked as she rested her head on on her hand looking at me expectantly.

"The victims had ties to a certain gang that seems to have been quite a thorn on your side recently aren't they? Being the leader of one of the most notorious underground Mafia groups you can't really let those thugs run around your territory. So which is it, Ms. Chankimha? Wanting to assert your dominance? Or just petty territorial disputes?" I said with a raised brow. I saw her eye twitch just the slightest bit. 'Gotcha' I thought.

She started tapping her finger on the table in a moment of thought as she then smiled again and the tapping stopped abruptly.

"I don't know anything about a Mafia group, Detective, are you sure you haven't been watching too many movies? I am nothing but a legitimate business owner, I'm sure your records indicate the same" she answered calmly and not a hint of nervousness.
