[ FOUR YEARS LATER ]
{ELAINA POV}

A loud ringing engulfs my ears as I'm snuggled up with my pillows.

Who's calling me right now it's too early..

The call goes silent for a couple minutes leaving me blank in my mind but then it rings again. This time I have to get up, no doubt about it.

I open my eyes to be attacked by the light through my window, just grabbing my flip phone from my bedside table. Rubbing my eyes in the process I pick up the call.

"Hello?" I ask.

"Elaina did you sleep in? I told you not to... I said last night I was going to drive you this time to the runway show, remember?" A voice speaks with an annoyed tone.

I look at my alarm clock and the time reads:
4:24 pm

Shit.

"Haha Destiny I'll be out in a minute I promise." I say before ending the call and slamming my covers off.

There's no time for distractions or Destiny is going to murder me.

I rush to my wardrobe and pick out my favorite miniskirt with a chunky brown belt, and add a crochet sweater on top of my bra. Rushing to my vanity I do some simple makeup and fix my hair into a messy bun. Lastly to finish my outfit I latch on long socks with some heels and rush out the door with my leather purse and keys.

As expected Destiny is waiting in her 1966 red cherry Mustang. She's reapplying some lip gloss to her lips as she holds the rearview mirror. I open the car door taking a seat and giving her an innocent expression.

"Well well looks who's finally awake." Destiny says as she crosses her arms. I give her an innocent cheeky grin in reply.

She rolls her eyes, smiles and hands me a coffee, "I knew this was going to happen, you're too predictable Elaina."

I lightly chuckle in response, "yeah I know."

Destiny points to her lip, "There's a huge lipstick stain on the side of your face."

"WHAT! WHERE?? GIVE ME A MIRROR!" I panic.

She starts laughing uncontrollably. I narrow my eyes at her as I realize her game.

"Get in the car Elaina." She says still giggling.

I give her a hmph before opening the car door and taking a seat.

Destiny starts the car and we drive out onto the road. Her windows are rolled all the way down and the breeze of the wind feels good on my face.
I put my sunglasses on as visibly the sun is setting.

**

The streets of Paris are lively as music is being played and street dancers tune to it. Destiny parks the car by the side of the road and I grab my belongings and get out of the car. She quickly pays for parking as I fix my hair quickly in the mirror. I want to always look my best.

"Hopefully if we're lucky we won't be too late." Destiny says as she catches up to me. I nod as I walk next to her.

We walk side by side, "There's no way they'll be mad, I'm their favorite model."
