Cale Makar

-This isn't exactly present tense, its a few years ago when he lived with his family. Also I know nothing about his actual family, so I'm just gonna add a few brothers and call it good-

You were hanging out with your boy best friend, Cale Makar, one friday night. You were hanging out at his house, watching him play video games in the basement family room. His brothers were used to you being over, you were over there a lot. But today felt different. Something in you didn't feel right. You began to get cramps, and your mood shifted. The boys (being Cales brothers) had left, going outside to shoot pucks. Cale had noticed the sudden shift in the atmosphere of the room.

"What's wrong?" He asked, taking his headset off and turning to you. You shook your head.

"I just don't feel good" You replied with a hand on your stomach, "I think I'm getting cramps." You didn't think your period would've started today, considering it was supposed to come in another week. 

"Here, lets go up upstairs," He stood up, "I'll get you some Advil, that usually helps right?" He pulled you up, and that's when you felt it; the dreaded red waterfall. Your face was turning pale and you didn't know what to say.

"I don't know" you managed to get out. 

"Is everything all right, y/n??" Cale asked with a concerned look on his face. You began to cry, from a mix of the embarrassment and pain. "Hey hey, whatever it is, its okay" He pulled you into his chest, holding you. After a few minutes you were able to gain control of yourself.

"I think I, uh, I might have" You started, taking a deep breath, "bled through my pants...". You looked away from Cale, scared of what reaction he could have. Men acted so distraught and disgusted by periods, and you didn't want him to think you were gross. 

"Thats okay, y/n," He said, stroking your hair, "I'll get you some sweats. Wait down here". He ran up the stairs. A few minutes went by and then he was back, with ice cream, a pair of black sweats, some lady products and advil. "Here you go!! Sorry if the girl stuff isn't what your used to, I got it out of my sisters bathroom". 

"Its okay, thank you so much." You were filled with relief that he wasn't judging you for natural things. You took the sweats and pads and went to the bathroom. After you changed you went back out to find him putting on a movie.

"Here, I got water for you while you were changing," He said, grabbing the water and handing it to you as you sat beside him on the couch, "And I'm putting on your favorite move!!" You smiled. You took some advil, then began to eat the ice cream. You passed it back and fourth with him for awhile before letting him have the rest of it. Eventually you cuddled up next to him. He put an arm around you and you slowly fell asleep.
