The sky is the color of azure, not a single cloud is to be seen to blemish the beautiful sight. The sun is shining with a blazing orange through the windows of Minho's room, its heat gently caressing his face in greeting as the wind blows at his curtains. The morning brings a pleasant cool air, carrying the scent of damp grass and foliage along with it. The trees around cast long, spindly shadows across the earth, the world slowly waking from its night rest. Birds sing in the distance, their sweet songs adding a pleasant background tune to the sounds of life stirring.

Minho slowly stirred up from his slumber, groaning as he stretches in his own bed, covers messily draped over his body and his face made into a small frown from sleep, almost melted with visible exhaustion beneath his eyes. Slowly, Minho rubs his eyes and sits up in his bed, taking in the way his room lighted up with the sunlight peeking through his curtains. Sighing, Minho decided to finally get up from his comfortable bed, kicking his feet off the bed and down onto the fluffy rug, feeling it's soft touch onto the sole of his feet.

He stands up as he slips on his flip flops, groggily walking towards his door and opens it, slightly surprised as he smells something delicious coming from the kitchen, curious, Minho decided to follow the smell. Minho stops as soon as the kitchen comes to his view, eyes wide in surprise as he sees Chan, in an apron, with the kitchen counter dirtied with eggshells and a white looking powder, frowning, Minho walks over to Chan and clears his throat.

Chan, who's back was turned to the doorway flinched as he quickly snaps his head back as he hears the sound, sucking in a breath as he sees how gorgeous Minho looked with a bed hair and a frown on, gulping, Chan decided to break the silence. "You're awake..." Chan mutters as he stares at Minho, feeling a foreign thing tugging on his chest as the sight of Minho looking this disheveled, and what made it all worse, is that he looked absolutely hot even when having just woken up. it made Chan feel unfair.

Minho looks back at Chan with a frown, noticing how long Chan was taking to stare at him, which made Minho roll his eyes and snap his fingers in front of Chan, trying to snap his attention back. "What are you making?". Minho thought to ask. Chan shifts his eyes to meet Minho's, blinking at him for another moment before wetting his dry lips, responding. "P-pancakes" Chan mutters, in which made Minho tighten his lips and point to the space in front of Chan. "You burned it" Minho says.

Chans eyes widened as soon as he heard those words leaving Minho's lips, whipping his head so fast back to the stove that his vision went blurry for half a second, letting out a soft gasp as he flips the pancake and grimaces as he sees how black the pancake looked, almost looking like charcoal in which made Chan quickly turn off the stove just to see how ruined the pancake have become. "Shit..." Chan mutters under his breath, which made Minho chuckle.

"Shit indeed" Minho teases as he walks over to Chan and gestured for him to hand Minho the pan, in which Chan obediently complies. Minho then carried the pan and stepped on the trash bin to open, throwing the pancake into the trash bin before grabbing some tissues and wiping the pan, careful not to burn himself as he then returns the pan back to the stove, looking at Chan. "Want me to make the rest of the batter?" Minho asked.

Chan immediately shakes his head a 'no'. "No, i don't need help, i just got slightly distracted" Chan huffs and mutters as he grabs the oil basting brush and dips it in some melted butter before using the silicon brush to spread the butter onto the base of the pan, putting the brush aside and turns the stove back on, keeping it on low heat as he waits for the pan to heat up once again.

Minho watches Chan with his arms crossed, seeing the way Chan was handling the pan and following the steps, my eyes accidentally darting on the mess dirtying the countertop instead, sighing as i then grab the eggshells and throw them out, as well as putting the milk back into the fridge and bowls into the sink before grabbing some cleaning cloth and wiping down the countertop, making sure it's back to being clean and sanitized before around the kitchen and collecting any empty bowl or plate, putting it in the sink as i start washing the dishes, deciding to silently help the shorter boy around.
