ADRIANA'S POV
This was a month since I made that Celia girl an offer and I am yet to hear from her, why was she being so stubborn.
I expected she would leap for joy and grab my offer with both hands given their family situation but it seems she has too much pride to go round.
But I would force her hand regardless, I can't let my plans go to waste. I can't stand that Diana lady my son is hovering around.
I picked up my phone and put a call through to my PI
"Good morning ma"
"Morning to you too, I need you to run a few errands for me" I said
"Okay ma, what can I do for you?" he asked
"Remember that Celia girl I asked you to bring me information about?" I asked him
"Yes ma"
"I need you to force her hands"
"How should I do this?" he asked
"Visit his siblings school, speak with the board to send them out with immediate effect, also find her mother's employee and get him to fire her immediately, and finally for their Mortgage, ask the bank to forclose on them"
"Is that all ma'am?"
"With this I believe she would come running to me, after all she has no other tangible source of income"
"Okay ma consider it done" he said
"Hold on, I would also need you to do one more thing" I said
I gave him final instructions and hung up.
Let's see how she would resist me again

I woke up with great enthusiasm, I am expecting her to call me, my PI called back yesterday night to inform me that my plans has been set in motion, so I expected positive response soon.
I went about my morning duties with joy and anticipation, as I was coming out of the shower my phone rang, I rushed to it and it was my assistant Lisa much to my disappointment.
"Hello!" I said
"Good morning ma!" she greeted
"I want to inform you that Mr Cleveland wants to reschedule his meeting with you for tomorrow instead, he said his flight was delayed"
"Then why are you calling me?"
"To ask if I should respond and where to fix him in your schedule"
"Lisa, how long have you been my assistant?"
"7 years ma"
"and you don't know how I would like my schedule to be?" I asked
"Sorry ma"
"Lisa fix him in a appropriate position and send me my schedule for tomorrow to verify"
"Yes ma, I am sorry" she said and I ended the call
I dropped my phone on the bed and proceeded to my dresser
As I was about to sit my phone started ringing once more, I walked up to bed and picked up my phone, the number was unsaved, I smiled and picked up
"Hello" I said holding back my giggle
"This is Celia, I will do it"
I withdrew the phone from my mouth and giggled and waited some minutes to reply
"Hello, ma'am are you there?" she said
"oh, yes I am, sorry I was a little bit busy" I lied
"I already have my schedule filled for the day, let's meet up at D'Swiss Hotels and Suites tomorrow at noon, so we can discuss properly on your terms of contract"
"Okay ma'am, but uhhh" she hesitated
"What is it Celia" I asked
"I was meaning to ask, can I cash in on the Cheque you gave me, I need it urgently"
"Of course you need it" I thought to myself smiling
"Yes, you can" I said
"Thank you ma" she said
I hung up. Took her long enough. After all I spent I knew it would pay off. I knew she would come running to me at this point and it walked out perfectly. Now I needed to set my plans in full motion, I would use her for two purposes, giving me grand children and getting rid of Diana. Then I will send her out and get my son a woman worthy to be called a daughter in law to this family,
I quickly got dressed and left for Steve's room, when I got there I did what I'd always do, I simply walked in without knocking
"Mother, for the umpteenth time, always knock" Steve said in frustration shifting Diana who was sitting on him with a duvet covering both.
I knew they were in the middle of a heated session but I couldn't care.
"Get off your horses, sex between you two is meaningless without children" I commented making Steve look at his wife. Before he could say anything I started again
"Any ways, the surrogate I contracted is ready, ask your lawyer to forward the contract documents to me before noon today so I can read the terms and vet it. we will be meeting her at noon for the signing"
"Fine mum, We have heard you, please leave mother, we were busy before you interrupted"
I looked at them both covered in duvet and sighed
"Bust doing absolutely nothing, 9 years under this same duvet no single evidence" I said sighing and walking out.
"You keep wasting precious sperms on that thing, let's sit and watch my plans unfold from tomorrow" I said as I went down stairs.
My phone rang as I was about getting into my car, it was my PI
I got into the car, whined up the glasses so no one can hear my conversation
"Hello"
"Good day ma'am"
"Good day to you too, you missed my call?" I asked
"Sorry about that Ma'am, I was doing a little work for a client so I put my phone on silent" he explained
"Okay that's fine, I need you to do somethings for me, I need you to put three of your men I charge of trailing some people" I said
"Who are they ma'am"
"I need Intel on Celia Garcia, Diana and her mother. I need to know where they go, who they meet and what happens in their daily life"
"Okay ma, how would you want this Intel"
"Make a daily report on them and forward to my email at the end of every day"
"Done ma'am"
"Have a nice day"
I hung up. There's a saying that goes "Keep your friends close but your enemies Closer" that's what I plan to do from now on
