we ran all the way through the shrine waching as ancient architechture fell to the ground beside us and bodies being thrown quite liturally out of the shadows towards us.

"Where is everyone" whisperd Dom his ergency burning through his voice

"lets just find Will and our freinds and get the hell out of here" i shouted saking Gemma as she started to whisper incomprohendable words as ifit was not even her voice saying them "Gemma snap out of it"

the words made her head gradually turn towards me there was fire in her eyes and in them i saw death.

"Owen, duck"  Dom jumped me and pushed me to the ground as flames curled around us and Gemma held them off with flames of her own. firing one last blast she turned on her heels and ran towards us.

"Run!!!" she screamed almost falling over.

the hallways were abandond and yet the sounds of fighting were all around us. Stopping to catch are breath we stopped.

"why have the guardians not been awakend" Gemma asked breathing heavely

"we need to get out theres no way we will survive for more than another hour in here" Ollie says standing up and pulling lucie up 

"we need to find tom i cant sense heim why cant i sense him" Lucie cries tears streaming down her cheeks.

"we need a leader and right now Will's the only one that can do that we need to find him" Dom says pushing past Ollie. "Who's with me"

slowly but surley we all stood up

"Lucie i promise we will find Tom but we need to find Will do you understand" Ollie says holding Lucie and holding her hand

the sounds of battle grew nearer and so we ran.

we passed numerous dead bodies and the once graceful architecture now redused to shatterd ruins we increased speed untill we came to an open room and in the middle Tom surrounded by bodies and a robed an flicking away his lightning and fireing blades from underneath hs sleeves. With Tom only just managing to dodge them.

"so the Goddess continues to send her pawns to stop me too bad I would have liked to torture this one a little longer" its words were like the screeching of a chalk board and with his final word he threw twenty of the knives at Tom and although he managed to daodge two the other eighteen plunged deep into his flesh. and when Tom finally slumped to the floor the thing sunk deep into the floor.

"get Luce out of her now she's seen enough bloodshed for one day" Ollie said pushing her into Gemma.

once they had left we walked over to Tom.

"Mark opinions" Dom says pulling one of the blades from Toms chest and handing it to mark.

"serrated and curved its made for inflicting pain not killing, its easily broken" and to show his point he snaps the blade in two "uneven brake, it wold be hard to get out cleanly in a hurry and would cause a lot of pain. its poisond using basilisk venom and giant blood extremly rare and especialy created for the slaughtering of vampires." mark puts the blade down and lifts up Toms lifeless body

"come on lets go find Will and get out of here" Michael says following after Mark.

we walked through the large wooden door to find Lucie in Gemma's arm while Becky stood over them.

"How is she" Mark asks reajusting the body on his shoulder.

"she blacked out as soon as we left the room but then again seeing your life mate murderd before your eye's will do that to you" Gemma say's sighing and standing up. "Owen carry her will you?"     

I slowly kneel down and pick her up and cradel her in my arms

"Lets just get out of here" Becy says "Will, will be in the room of guardians thats our best bet to find him and if not atleast we will be able to awaken the defences and take back what we have lost and get revenge on those bastards."

how little we knew about them back then and how much danger lay round the corner for us.
