The Cave Underneath

Chapter two

Gabriella rubbed her head painfully, groaning. The first thing that came out of her mouth was, "How far did we fall?"

"Far," Bre said. "I can't see the light anymore."

Gabriella opened her eyes to complete darkness. So dark it didn't make a difference if her eyes were closed or not. "Oh no." How were they ever going to get out? She couldn't even see her own hands in front of her face.

"Get off of me!" Jake's voice shouted, echoing in the darkness father away.

"Found the boys," Sophie mumbled.

There was scuffling sounds, and an "Umph" that was most likely Daniel getting pushed off of Jake. Gabriella tried to stand, but it was hard when you didn't know what was around you, and she was constantly worried she'd step on the wrong spot or hit her head on something she couldn't see above her.

She gasped as a hand grabbed her arm, but eased when she realized it was her friend.

"Come on," Bre said. "We gotta find a way out of here."

"How?" she asked. "I can't see anything."

Gabriella heard shuffles, as if someone were walking. They sounded far off. "Where are you going?" she asked. This didn't feel right.

"I'm checking it out." Jake. Gabriella managed to stand without hitting her head on any rocks. She reached her hands into the air and around her to feel for walls-- or anything-- but it seemed like it was an empty space all around. The place they'd fallen was pretty big, she decided. " Try not to run into anything" Bre exclaimed "Like we would" Jake said

"Where are you guys" Gabriella said, Bre took out her Brightly colored phone and turned on her flashlight "Hey, look we can see again" Jake said "Well I would say Jake is okay" Sophie said "Come on" Daniel yelled while he was running deeper into the cave "Why are you running" Sophie yelled back "To get there faster" Daniel said slowing down so the others could catch up

"Hey there's this new thing it's called running" Daniel shouted "We're coming, hold your horses" Bre shouted back at him. The walls started to rumble they all ran for cover. They found a wooden structure to hind under.  "Maybe we shouldn't yell" Gabriella whispered " Yeah the might be a good idea" Jake whispered back. 

Once the rumbling stopped they peeked out from the wooden structure and saw a big mysterious creature that looked like it could tear them into peaces with it's huge muscles. "Were you talking" it screamed at a small  blue skinny  creature " No, I swear" it said quietly. Then it saw them watching them he turned his head quickly before the other creature could see what he was staring at. " Oh so we're lying now are we" it screamed " N-No" it said back " just for lying you get to stay here, Throw him in that house, if i see you following us you will end" he yelled. 

Two big Creatures picked him up and threw him in the house that they we're hiding in. They hid their heads quickly as the creatures left. " Um... What... Just... Happened?" asked Daniel " That was my master" Answered the small creature " Who and What are you" Jake asked " I'm Mason, I'm a mixture of different creatures it's hard to explain" he replied " Well Mason do you care to tell us where we are" Shophie said with care " We're in what we call The Underground"Mason replied. " That's what we call it too because, I don't know it's under the ground" Jake said sarcastically. " No need to be a.." Daniel spoke but was rudely interrupted by Bre " Heyyy, so is there anyway out of this place? Because, I don't know about you guys but I want to get out of here." She said while holding her phone up trying to get signal. "I seriously doubt you'll get service down here, if you didn't realise we fell pretty far" Sophie said emphasis on the pretty.

"Well there is one way out but it's a long ways away and I don't know if you'll want to walk that far or even face lord tyrant again" Mason interrupted,  walking towards us " We'll take our chances" said Jake very rudely I might add. "Well let's get on our way" I interjected. We all agreed, I pulled Daniel to my side. He took my hand into his and we followed Mason towards the Exit.
