What If.

Zee's sat down on one of the seats below the stage. He sighs and looks at the his watch.

1:45am

His eyes then went to the boy on the stage rehearsing the last few songs before his big day tomorrow. Well, later really. He looks tired, very much tired, but he refuses to stop.

The stage director then called for a break. Nunew finally sat down on the stairs at the side of the stage. He brushed his sweaty hair off of his face and looked at the ceiling. Zee stood up and grabbed the black SuperSun bottle and a small face towel. He walked towards Nunew and stopped in front of him. He put the bottle down and sat next to him.

"Are you still okay?"
Zee asked Nunew.

He turned Nhu's face to face him and wiped the sweat on his forehead and neck.

"Maybe you should rest now Nhu. Its nearly 2am"
Zee softly said to him.

"Im okay Hia. Last two songs and Im done. Dont worry."
Nunew reassured him and smiled.

"I know you're pressured and worried. But you have to take care of yourself too."
Zee worriedly looked at his face.

"Im really okay Hia. I promise I'll be done soon then we can go home. Okay?"
Nunew then took the towel from Zee and wiped his own neck.

Zee sighed again and shook his head. He then took the bottle and gave it to Nunew.

"Here, your Pa told me to brew you this. He said it will help soothe your throat"
Zee said as he opens the bottle.

"Thank you Hia"

Zee's eyes roamed around the Impact stadium while Nunew's drinking the warm tea. It's empty now but later this evening it will be filled with fans. He bit his lip as he remembers something that's making both him and Nunew on the edge for a while now.

He bit his lip as he looks at the man who has taken over his heart by storm.

"Nhu."
Zee calls out to him softly.

Nunew looked at Zee as we swallows. He wiped his lip and put the cap back on the bottle.

"Yes hia?"
Nunew asked

"Have you decided on what you'll do when I step back down?"
Zee nervously asked Nunew.

"Hia-"

"The stage suits you love. You shine the best when you're in your element"
Zee cuts him off. His smile is both proud and sad at the same time.

"Hia dont do this."
Nunew tensedly said

"But nhu, we talked about this. I'll still be-"

"No!"
Nunew said a bit too loud causing the others to glance at them.

"Nhu"
Zee rubbed his shoulders.

"Look. Dont do this now. We'll talk about this later. Not now."
Nunew abruptly said to Zee.

He then stood up and signaled everybody that he wants to continue now.

Zee sighed deeply and took the bottle and the towel that Nunew left on the floor. He then walked back to the seat that he was occupying before and watched as Nunew continued to rehearse.

You now can shine on your own my love. You dont need me now.

Zee thought in his head, biting his lower lip as if that would stop his emotions from showing on his face.

Zee lies down on his side and he felt Nunew scoot closer to him. His hand automatically reach out for the younger one and wrapped his arm on Nunew's waist.
