A blue square appears in my face, requesting a spar from JAYDEN. "Would you like to comply?"YES, NO."

I press my finger on the YES button. The ground shakes as the arena rises. There are bleachers between Jayden and me, with gigantic TVs hovering over us. Students begin to appear on the bleachers, and so do Jayden's dogs.

The audience began chanting. "THREE, TWO, ONE, GO!" As the fight began, I sigh and ran my hand through my hair.Jayden rushed toward me with determination. I sidestepped him, causing him to trip because he was really sluggish. His face became enraged as I continued to side step, duck, and dodge him.Jayden's fists begins to glow with his main powers, air and fire.

" Oh hell nah." I muttered between heavy breaths I didn't have powers. A powerful gust of wind pushes me back slightly making me stumble.

"Not as confident as before, Kyle?" Sneers Jayden.

I was going to wipe that sneer off of his ugly face. Fireballs shoot at me at impressive speed, but not enough to slow me down. I dash to Jayden, fireballs missing me along the way. Suddenly, a massive fire wall spread before stopping me from reaching Jayden. Another fire wall appears on the other side of me, slowly closing me in.

Abruptly, the blue square that I had seen before the fight popped up.

"Do you want to unlock your four main powers—fire, air, water, and lastly, earth?" it asked. ' YES, NO

I start to aggressively spam the "YES" button. I start to feel the powers warming up in my body, swirling all over the place. Now... WHY DONT POWERS HAVE INSTRUCTIONS????? I begin to open and close my fist, trying to recreate the glowing fists that I saw Jayden have when summoning his powers. Short story short, a big old fail.

Next was panicking and failing. This was the last option. I imagined my first glow with my water magic and the water surrounding my body, making me able to avoid the fire. It worked! Water shot out of my hand and wrapped itself across my body.

I walked through the fire, which tickled me a bit. I smiled at Jayden's surprised face. The crowd started to whisper and mutter to their friends. Vines shot out of my ground and grabbed Jayden, not allowing him to move

I stride up to him and lift his chin up so that he can see me.

" Should I let you go or should I do what you've done to me?" I ask him, this time instead of a sneer being on Jayden's face it's on mine.

Jayden's face is a mess, tears steaming down his face. " Please spare me, please!" He begs

" The short answer is fine but if I see you mess with anyone anymore I will kill you on the spot." I bluff.

The arena disappears from sight and Jayden scurried away. The crowd began to clap before I stopped them by raising my hand up.

" Let's all clap to how much you all hated me and acknowledged me," I say. The cafeteria is silent. I stride away to my next class still hungry maybe I should've had my lunch before. At the end of the day when I was packing my bag I noticed that the key chain that Ms. Johnson gave me was gone.

I shrug to myself, maybe it was a good luck charm and that I had used it all up!

Oh how wrong I was...

Hiiii readers I know this chapter is probably not good but I had a writers block so blame that! I also know that I left you on a cliff hanger but that's just how books work to engage you to keep reading. Anyway off that topic I will be having to go to school * cry * so I will be updating 1 week after school starts and i'm sorry to say this but the chapters will be noticeably smaller and I know that the chapters are really short know but I don't want to stay up the whole night writing this story.
